The crop residue burning issues and its hazards are widely covered
in research journals, print media, broadcast and online. To validate
this problem team RuTAG had several interactions with NGOs and
farmers. The field survey was conducted in district Amravati,
Maharashtra. The objective of the survey was to understand the
ground level condition of availability of agro residue.
It was found that Pelletizers are available in the market for various
biomass feedstock, but not for the scale of 30 to 50 kg/h. (needed
for small land holding farmers) Various process parameters like
pressure, temperature, particle size reduction, binding strength and
choice of binder materials are critical for effective pelletization,
which is intended to develop in the present proposal. Further, these
pellets may be used for community cooking application in the
Bio- mass based vicinity of pellet making units.
3. Pellet making This project shows immense potential, considering the
machine environmental factor, increment in farm income through selling of
agro residue, additional fuel generation and livelihood generation
at farms. The pellets will reduce deforestation and import bill on
LPG.

10. Draft animal A hybrid technology that is integrating DAP traction system with use of
electrical motor and battery based traction system to enable traction power
powered (DAP)
of two animals with single animal. This will reduce the capital cost and
hybrid traction
device operation cost of one animal leading to reduced farm production cost.

Technologies Description of Technologies
o
This technology has two complementary innovations that increase the
energy efficiency of cold storage systems by up to 50% and reduce their
frequency and cost of maintenance. The first innovation is a new type of
evaporative cooling tower, and the second innovation is a new type of
free-cooling system. The new technology significantly reduces the cost
Low-power and low-
of setting-up off-grid cold storage units that typically run on expensive
cost cold storage
solar panels. For a completely solar-powered 4 MT cold store, the
technology
upfront cost can come down by up to 40% from the current cost of about
Rs 8 lakh. The technology also enables low-cost thermal energy storage
in the form of ice or phase-change materials. Thermal storage ensures
cost-efficient operation of off-grid and weak-grid cold store units when
grid or solar power is not available
This innovation has come up with a simple and quick user- friendly,
field deployable, affordable solution for detection of 4 major pesticides
based on aptamer AuNPs –paper microfluidics device integrated with a
mobile scanner which will be a self-intuitive colorimetric sensor
involving easy onsite analysis of pesticides within few minutes from

are: 1. Extraction of pesticide by simple extraction protocol. 2. Loading
of sample in stabilised microfluidics chip. 3. Visualise the colour change
for qualitative and analysis. Our device will be pioneers with unique
features compared to available devices for on-site detection also have
provision for quantitative analysis and require 10 mins for detection.
Active Packaging This innovator has developed an active packaging sachet that can

Post Harvest Losses helps with significantly cutting down the losses happening throughout
the supply chain from farm to consumer. The proposed product
comprises of active ingredients that are derived from various plant
sources, which acts as a signal molecule to activate a defence mechanism
with a fruit or vegetable. The product is designed in sachet form, which
includes the nano-encapsulated powder of the active ingredient which is
released in a sustained manner near a fruit/ vegetable placed in a crate.
When the volatile active ingredient is released it slows down the
ethylene biosynthesis pathway and restricts microbial growth of fresh
produce without any expensive technologies refrigeration and harmful
chemicals toxic.
Our fully electric bots are capable of inter-row weed control in crops

expense with our fully autonomous version which can work 24/7 on the
field. They can be equipped with a variety of attachments, including

Low Profile Auto The increase in Inland Aquaculture production has created for a huge
Pneumatic Bead Filter demand for Energy Efficient, Water Efficient, Easy to use Filters and to
Design and Manufacture them in India to meet the growing demand is
the Mission of the project. Marine Shrimp Farmers, after the purchase of
PL’s (Post Larva) the first 28 to 30 days is the Nursery Phase, here the
shrimp are stocked at very high density in HDPE lined ponds or in
BioFloc Tanks. The water quality plays a major role in the survival and
rapid growth of the shrimp, continuous water exchange increases the
chance of bacterial infections and also increases the loss of many vital
minerals and nutrients from water. Depending on the capacity of the
system the Filter is designed and manufactured specific to the client’s
requirement. It is then installed at the project location. The filter is
attached and operated until the water quality parameters of the culture
tank are under acceptable values after which the filter is moved and
attached to the other culture tank for filtration. This reduces the total
capital cost required to setup the filtration system required for the entire
unit and improves the survival and growth rate of the shrimp by
reducing the water exchange and maintaining the water parameters
well within the acceptable values.
The project primarily focuses on developing the IoT based smart (AI
enabled) pumping system in which IoT based sensor network is

Irrigation System could both ensure that plants could have enough water for their growth
and costs the minimum money for water usage. Will make all the
information visual to the user and take in user-defined input and
increase the crop yield.
