I. OBJECTIVES Objectives must be meet over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the objectives, necessary procedures must be followed and if needed, additional lessons,
exercises and remedial activities may be done for developing content knowledge and competencies. These are using Formative Assessment strategies. Valuing objectives support the
learning of content and competencies and enable children to find significance and joy in learning the lessons. Weekly objectives shall be derived from the curriculum guides.
A. Content Standards: The learner demonstrates communicative competence through his/ her understanding of Philippine Literature and other texts types for a
deeper appreciation of Philippine Culture.
B. Performance Standards: The learner transfers learning by: showing appreciation for the literature of the past; comprehending texts using appropriate reading styles;
participating in conversations using appropriate context-dependent expressions; producing English sounds correctly and using the prosodic features of
speech effectively in various situations; and observing correct subject-verb agreement.
C. Learning At the end of this lesson, you will be able to summarize key information from a text (EN6OL-IVj-3.6)
Competencies/Objectives: Specifically:
Write the LC Code for each
1. unlock difficult terms using context clues;
2. use a graphic organizer in summarizing;
3. identify positive Filipino values,and;
4. Write a summary based on the given texts.
Content is what the lesson is all about. It pertains to the subject matter that the teacher aims to teach. In the CG, the content can be tackled in a week or two.
