INTRODUCTION
Animator is an artist who creates multiple images, which when displayed in rapid
sequence give an illusion of movement called animation. An Animator needs to
refer to the concept of artwork prepared by animation artists to produce asequence
of 2D or 3D images by producing multiple images called frames, which when
sequenced together rapidly create an illusion of movement.

The images can be made up of digital or hand-drawn pictures, models or puppets.

An Animator has the responsibilities of developing animation as per client
requirement and work with editors to composite the various layers of animation.

Objectives:
1. Demonstrate the knowledge of uses and applications of Animation.
2. Demonstrate the knowledge of principles of Animation
3. Demonstrate the knowledge of basics compositing
4. Demonstrate the knowledge of various features of 2D Animation
5. Demonstrate the knowledge of the concept of 3D production pipeline
6. Demonstrate the concept of bouncing balls and various other steps of animation
7. Demonstrate the knowledge of project setting and animation rendering
Adobe Premier Pro
Adobe Premiere Pro is a timeline-based video editing software application
developed by Adobe Inc. and published as part of the Adobe Creative Cloud
licensing program. First launched in 2003, Adobe Premiere Pro is a successor of
Adobe Premiere

About Workspaces

When we work with Adobe Premier Pro, it presents a virtual workspace on the
screen. We can move windows around, close some items and open others.

To begin, start by launching Adobe Premier Pro, Click Start All Programs Adobe
Premier Pro, then click on the New Project.

Adobe video and audio applications provide a consistent, customizable

workspace. Although each application has its own set of panels (such as Tools,
Properties, Timeline, and so on), you move and group panels in the same way
across products. The main window of a program is the application window. Panels are
organized in this window in an arrangement called a workspace. The default
workspace contains groups of panels as well as panels that standalone. We can
customize a workspace by arranging panels in the layout that best suits your
working style. We can create and save several custom workspaces for different
tasks. We can drag panels to new locations, move panels into or out of a group,
place panels alongside each other, and undock a panel so that it floats in a new
window above the application window

Autodesk Maya
Autodesk Maya, commonly shortened to just Maya, is a 3D computer graphics
application that runs on Windows, macOS and Linux, originally developed by
Alias and currently owned and developed by Autodesk. It is used to create assets
for interactive 3D applications, animated films, TV series, and visual effects

Maya animation is a powerful animation tool. These tools gives the freedom to
animate any attribute of an object and the control to successfully transform joints
and bones, IK handles, and models over time. Graph editor, trax editor and dope
sheet, these are the main animation editors in Maya. The Dope Sheet is another
animation editor in Maya that is similar to the Graph Editor. Instead of displaying
curves, the Dope Sheet displays key times as coloured rectangles and edit event
timing in blocks of key frames and synchronize motion to a sound file. Trax editor
mainly helps the animator to do nonlinear animation.
