Skills
Attention to Detail - Concerned with quality. During my work at Secure LTD checking the customer’s ID’s at the
entrance I have discovered inconsistencies in ID’s which lead to preventing any underage teenagers from
entering inside, to consume alcohol which could have affected them in a negative way.
Teamwork- Working at Three Zones I always provided a constructive and safe work environment. I consistently
show commitment to the team, I share my knowledge and experience. Furthermore, I have also learned from
my colleagues in order to solve our team tasks.
Flexible -During my work at TKX Retail opening event I was highly committed to the work as well as to the
unusual working hours in shift patterns with subsequent changes to suit my employer’s needs.
Communication Skills- Whilst working at Crownfield I provided outstanding communication which allowed me
to show the customers including families with small children an excellent body language and tonality of the
voice making them feel safe and comfortable showing them respect and care.
Listening skills- Throughout the time I was working at YUX I was always able to listen with patience to the
customer’s problems and complaints which enabled me to understand what the customers need and how I
could help them.
Managing Conflict- Working at YUX I was able to investigate the problem and using internal procedures: Hear
them out, Empathize, Apologise and Take responsibility for action. This technique is used for handling
challenging situations when one or more customers are upset. I have used both of these strategies to dissolve
the potential conflicts by making the customers see both sides of the argument and help them understand each
other.
Observing Skill- Whilst working at TKX Retail my job there was to keep the customers safety. One particular
customer caught my attention through the way he was behaving. By visually paying close attention to him I have
observed that his next action was to steal goods from the customers’ pockets. As he was far away from me, I
didn’t manage to stop him in time, however, I have remembered how he looked like and so I was able to
describe him perfectly to the police which helped them to find him straight away due to the information I gave
them and return the stolen goods to the customer, who was very happy as he wasn’t expecting to receive his
goods back.
