Letter of Recommendation

I am writing to strongly endorse Mr. Mohd Abdullah Khan, a dedicated Zakir Husain College of
Engineering and Technology student at Aligarh Muslim University. Mr. Khan has applied for the
Program Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship and I wholeheartedly recommend him for this
outstanding opportunity.
I had the privilege of teaching Mr. Khan in the Circuit Theory course, where his performance was
consistently satisfactory. He actively engaged in classroom discussions, demonstrated a keen intellect
through insightful questions, and maintained excellent professional relationships with peers and
faculty.
Furthermore, Mr. Khan has significantly contributed to our academic and extracurricular community.
He currently serves as the Joint Secretary at the IEEE ZHCET AMU Student Branch, where he
has been pivotal in organizing various technical events, workshops, and seminars. His
efforts have cultivated an environment of innovation and knowledge sharing among our student body,
and his leadership and organizational skills have contributed significantly to the success of numerous
IEEE events at our university.
In addition to his academic achievements and involvement in student organizations, Mr. Khan gained
valuable practical experience through a one-month industrial internship at a 3MW ground-mounted
grid-connected solar power plant within the Electricity Department of Aligarh Muslim University.
This hands-on experience allowed him to apply his classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios,
significantly enhancing his engineering skills and deepening his understanding of renewable energy
systems.
In conclusion, I enthusiastically recommend Mr. Mohd Abdullah Khan for the SURF Fellowship. His
outstanding academic record, leadership qualities, and practical experience make him an ideal
