My Innovation, Bimbot

The proposal is from Deepan Nathan, a student from SMK Datuk Onn in Penang, Malaysia. He proposes an invention called Bimbot, which is a 3D printer that can print plastic materials that dissolve in hot water. This aims to reduce plastic waste entering the ocean by providing a solution made from environmentally-friendly, dissolvable plastic. Deepan believes his invention can help balance marine ecosystems and benefit the environment and community. It has commercialization potential if implemented as an innovative way to address the global issue of plastic pollution in oceans.

Introduction: It is estimated that up to 13 million metric tons of plastic ends up in
the ocean each year. The equivalent of a rubbish or garbage truck
load’s worth every minute.Fish,seabirds,sea turtles,and marine
mammals can become entangled in or ingest plastic debris, causing
suffocation,starvation,and drowning.Hence,I found a solution.I
could invent a 3D printing machine, which prints plastic materials
that can dissolve in hot water.
