 Carmen: Hi everyone, how was your last class assignment?
 Luis: Are you talking about the video or the scientific research project?
 Luis: Thank God, so far things are going well for me, but I'm worried about the final
exam.
 Allison: OMG! I had completely forgotten about the exams; my mind was so
distracted that I had really missed.
 Luis: To be honest, this last exam went by very quickly, but we learned a lot.
 Carmen: In that you are absolutely right, while I was looking for a way to express my
ideas in English, I learned many new words that I never imagined existed.
 Luis: Although it was very devastating since we had several projects in the other
classes, it was quite a challenge for us.
 Allison: But in the end at least we will have tome to study over the weekend and have
a better grade in the exam, since we won’t have any more pending homework after
today, that calms me down a bit, since our last week we won’t have any only school
day, in part, that encourages me a lot, our vacations finally arrived!
 Ricardo: Hello Everyone!
 Allison: Hello Ricardo, why all your enthusiasm?
 Ricardo: What do you guys think about the new platform they want to implement at
the university?
 Carmen: I think, that they took it very lightly, I haven’t even been able to register, I
tried it a week ago, but I didn’t know what to do, I think, that they should give us a
induction to the new platform, from this part, or we won’t know how to enter at the
next star of classes, that terrifies me a little, I think I’ll end up going to campus for
help.
 Ricardo: It might cause some confusion at first, since we are used to the old one. I just
hope this new platform works out because if it doesn't it will be a disaster for us all!
 Luis: I hope that this new platform is much better than the current one since it will
make it much easier for us to attend classes and submit our assignments.
 Allison: Look on the bright side, whit the new platform we will the new platform we
will no longer be afraid that it has failures, like the current one, that in exam times we
cannot ever enter it, and that takes away valuable minutes that we need later, I am also
sure that everyone, has ever failed them.
 Carmen: That would be an excellent improvement because in this way, we will not
pay replacements caused by errors of the institution, and we will not lose points since
they are valuable in our classes, in order to pass each period.
 Allison: oh that's great, I won't have a bad experience that could harm my work and I
won't be stressed.
 Luis: Well, leaving this topic for the next period, honestly I don't want to know about
homework right now, I would like to know what you will do on vacation?
 Ricardo: What I will do on my vacation is clear my mind and try to rest as much as
possible.
 Allison: I plan to make plans with my friends and rest a bit, I would really like to go
to the movies, and enjoy before the next period starts.
 Carmen: Quite frankly I'm just going to relax! I had a lot of investigation and reports
to do this school period that it left me with burned-out.
 Luis: I plan to visit my grandparents' house on the outskirts of the city, because I like
the calm of the countryside and listening to the birds singing, but most of all I like to
go to the river that runs in the middle of it. town, it's huge and while my grandfather
catches some fish for dinner, I really enjoy swimming in it.
 Allison: wow, really? How big is the river, is it open to the public or do you have to
pay to get in, I would really like to do something new on these vacations, and I would
like to get out of the city, I feel that the calm of the countryside would be very good
for me.
 Luis: It's actually part of one of my grandfather's lands, so it's not open to the public,
in fact only a few people know about it outside of my family, but they know that next
weekend is my birthday, not until today I knew I could plan to celebrate it, but if I
decided to go celebrate there, would you like to join me?
 Ricardo: Really? I would be delighted to visit the place, and better if it is on a special
occasion like that, you know, I have an all-terrain truck that I have not taken out of the
city, I would like to go and test its resistance there, if you like the I can take, so we
can all go!
 Carmen: This is the best summer plan! I will take care of bringing delicious food, I
have taken courses online and learned to make incredible barbecues, I will bring a lot
of meat so that we can celebrate in style and eat until we are satisfied.
 Allison: This is very exciting! I am going to personally bake your birthday cake, and I
will bring cold sodas so as not to suffer from the heat, I want this week to end and our
vacations to begin and begin to enjoy.
 Luis: Well, this is now an official plan, prepare for your exams and enjoy!
