Design Goals and Observations
Overall Project Goal:

Develop a small, natural-focused, walk-to park to be used for playing, picnicking,

and strolling.

Initial Observations:

• Woodland and stream provide natural landscape to explore.

• Existing berm creates natural separation from street, but also limits
access/entry points.

• Accessibility into the park will present a challenge.

• Selective clearing may be necessary to allow for use areas.

• Existing vegetation is largely invasive species.

• Existing berm planting is in generally good condition and will remain.
