POLICE HEADQUARTERS J&K JAMMU/SRINAGAR Phone/Fax No: 0194-2443026 : = MON, alice. govn 0191-2459251 [email protected] Subject:- Selection of candidates after operation of waiting list for the post of Constables in J&K SDRF Reference:- i) Selection list issued by PHQ vide order No. 660 of 2019 dated 14-02-2019. ii) ADGP HG/CD & SDRF J&K, Srinagar Letter No.Estt/Recruit-Corrsp/7245-47 dated 29-07-2019 PHQ Order No: 389% 2019 Dated: - /Y-10-2019 Whereas, in terms of PHQ order No.660 of 2019 dated 14-02-2019 selection list in favour of 315 candidates in J&K SDRF was issued after completion of Recruitment Process carried out in the year 2018-19 who were subsequently adjusted in SDRF 1" Battalions and SDRF 2" Battalion for issuance of their formal appointment orders subject to fulfillment of prescribed formalities; and Whereas, the sclected candidates were advised to present themselves in the office of their respective places of adjustment alongwith requisite ‘testimonials for fulfillment of pre-requisite formalities prescribed for issuance of formal appointment orders within 21 days; and Whereas, aficr the expity of 21 days, directions were given to ADGP HG/CD & SDRF to intimate the reporting/non reporting of selected candidates in their respective offices; and Whereas, in response to PHQ directions, ADGP HG/CD & SDRF has intimated that 11 candidates have not reported to their respective offices within stipulated time frame for joining which indicates that thes candidates are not interested to join the Police Department; and Whareas, a candidate selected under RBA category figuring at S. No. 01 & a candidate selected under SUPC category figuring at $. No. 01 in District Kupwara failed to produce the relevant category certificates in which they were selected; and Whereas, accordingly, the selection of such 13. selected candidates was cancelled vide PHQ order NoSBSSof 2019 dated \Q-10- 2019 on the recommendation of ADGP HG/CD & SDRF vide his reference quoted above; and Whereas, consequent upon the above and considering the vacancies accrued as a result of cancellation of selection of 13 candidates, the waiting list is operated for filling up of these resultant vacant posts, however, one post in District Baramulla remained unfilled due to non- availability of eligible candidate and Whereas, some of the candidates figuring in the waiting list were found to have secured equal marks, in those cases preference has accordingly been given to the candidates who are older in age; and Whereas, a candidate namely Mohd. Shafi Mir S/o Gh Nabi Mir R/o Zoogo Tehsil Khan Sahib District Budgam with D.O.B 01-11-1987 of RBA category having secured 26 marks was already selected under RBA category in District Budgam and while operating the waiting list under OM category the said candidate being older in age having equal marks to the candidate figuring at S. No. 03 of the waiting list candidate under OM category, jumped from RBA category to OM category causing one vacancy in RBA catevary which hae hao filled coteh ww.Now, therefore, taking into consideration the above facts, the . candidates mentioned in annexure “A” of this order are hereby selected as Constables in J&K SDRF from the waiting list subject to the following conditions/formalities:- = Verification/authentication of the genuineness of academic qualification certificates of the selected candidates. ii, Verification of category certificate in respect .of those candidates selected under respective categories in pursuance of SRO-294 of 2005 dated 21-10-2005 read with SRO 144 of 2008 dated 28-05-2008. iii. Verification of Character/antecedents from CID. iv. Medical examination/checkup from respective Police Hospital Kashmir/Jammu.
