Output Determination in ECC purchasing

These output determination configurations are only applicable in ECC, in


S/4HANA there will be BRF+ based output determination.
Overall Flow:
❖ Create condition table.
❖ Create Access Sequence and assign condition table to it.
❖ Create Message Type and assign access sequence to it.
❖ Create Message determination schema and assign the message type to it.
❖ Assign Message determination schema to purchasing document i.e.
PO/PR/Delivery/RFQ/Schedule line agreement/Outline Agreement
❖ Assign Message schema to purchase order.
❖ Maintain condition record.

In this document we are going to work on purchase order.


Create condition table.
OLME > Purchasing > Messages > Output Control > Condition Tables > Define Condition Table for purchase
order.
Create Access Sequence and assign condition table to it.
OLME > Purchasing > Messages > Output Control > Access Sequence > Define Access Sequence for
purchase order.
Create Message Type and assign access sequence to it.
OLME > Purchasing > Messages > Output Control > Message Types > Define Message Type for purchase
order.
Assign Message determination schema to purchasing document.
OLME > Purchasing > Messages > Output Control > Message Determination Schemas > Define Message
Schema for purchase order.
Assign Message schema to purchase order.

Maintain condition record using transaction MN04.
