aT tite ETC ET RUTH olVileeiclamivllelcd You do not need to do anything manually, and you do not need to have any more items on the table, everything is scripted to set up the game in a few clicks. « Click on the prefered Add Player button on the table « Pull a starting class or locked class from the envelopes on the table or inside the game box « Drop it on your Player Maat, that spawned based on what Add Player button you clicked. This up your character. « Fill in your Party Sheet, this will set the correct level of your scenarios. You can click Easy, Normal, Hard and Very Hard to set your dificulty level. + Click Add Play Area Button. On the Play Area click on Elemental Infusion Board and Get The Modifier Deck. « This area has buttons to: Increase/Decrease HP & XP of your character, Create/Consume Element, send a card to Discard/Lost/Active areas on your player mat « Above the Play area are all the tokens needed to play the game « On the World Map, click the Add Achievement and click to add your desired achievement from the board that shows up. « Click on the Scenario Number from the Map to add the Location Sticker, click again to mark it as completed, right click to remove it + LOCATION STICKER" - You can double click a location sticker to auto set up that scenario, withouth using the Game Setup. You can tripple click it to add a Red Cross Mark signifying the scenario is locked ll set + Click the Game Setup Button, you will see 2 tabs, one for Scenario Setup, the second for Monster Setup. Usually you will not need the Monster Setup tab, that is situational + Select your Scenario Number « Select Hidden Rooms or Revealed Rooms « Select Standee(similar to the physical version) or Hex(top down view for who prefers it) « Click Create Map, this will create the map, spawn monsters and set up everything for the chosen scenario. Now you're all set up to play the game. IMPORTANT* - Gloomhaven uses mixed horizontal and vertical hex grids, so you need to change the jin game grid accordingly. To do this you have to go Options (on the top bar) > Grid > Type, and switch between Hex Horizontal and Hex Vertical, depending on the map you're playing. « Click on Battle Interface Button, this is your main way to control actions of your character « If you play solo, you will need to have 2 Charactres set up on the table and click Solo Mode on the Battle Interface « From now on you do your actions as normal, selecting 2 cards fro your hand and place them on the Play Area. Your initiative card should be placed in the P1, P2, P3 or P4 spaces, according to your, selected place on the table, from left to right. « After all players have placed their cards, face down, on the Play Area you click Start Round. + A few things will happen when you start a round: a) Player cards will be revealed b) Monster Ability Cards will be drawn ¢) Initiative Tracker will appear on the left side of the screen « Take turns as normal, drawing Attack Modifiers, using the Battle Interface for players and the Draw Button on the Play Area for monsters. « Assign damage by clicking +/- signs on monster/character standees « Use effects by dropping the coresponding effect token on top of the standee. This will show the icon of the effect on top of the health bars. To remove it click on it, from the front of the standee « Click on each character/monster that had taken it’s turn on the Initiative Tracker, this will turn red. « After all characters/monsters took their turns, click End Round, DO NOT touch the monster ability cards or modifier cards, this will be shuffled back, when necessary, at the end of the round, « After you finished playing a scenario or session, you will want to clean up the board and save your progress. DO NOT delete things manually « Click on the Game Setup. On the Scenario Setup tab, click Delete Map. This will highlight your map area and ask you if you really want to delete it. « Click on Monster Setup, Delete Monsters button and do as instructed above + OPTIONALY - if you want to save your character click on Remove Player coresponding to your player mat. This will pack up everything from your player mat, saving any changes you may have made to your character, This are the quick and dirty setup rules to follow to make your game as easy and fast to setup as possible.
