Since safety is such an important issue in the process and machine industries, the Governance Board
treats the CFSE/CFSP applications and examinations very seriously. As a result, the certificate
examinations are extremely rigorous and often demand significant preparation in order to achieve the
80% passing grade.
The exida 4½ day training course offered by Excel Marco provides a good supplement to independent
study and helps candidates on their final preparation and review prior to taking the CFSE/CFSP
examinations. This training has been approved by the CFSE Governance Board.
