MAINTENANCE INFORMATION
Make sure that no part of the helicopter touches other objects while is moved. Be very
careful with the main rotor blades and the tail rotor blades. Damage to the helicopter can
occur if a part of it touches other objects.
- Before disconnecting the tow-bar, make sure to align the nose wheel such that the center
lock lever can be rotated to the horizontal position (clockwise) to engage the nose wheel
center lock pin.
- Prevent sudden starts and stops during tow operation.
- Apply rotor brake before tow operation and parking brake after tow operation.
- When making turns do not pass the towing bar beyond the maximum angle marks located
on the radar dome locks

MAINTENANCE INFORMATION
Blades tie-downs must be installed if the wing velocity is more than 20 kts. The blades
correct position to install the tie-downs is such that one MR blade is perpendicular (90°) to
the longitudinal axis. The tie-downs must be secured on the main landing gears.
The pitot tubes will be hot after the engine stops. Allow to cool the pitot tubes for at least
five minutes before installing the covers.
The engine components will be hot after the engine stops. Allow the engine to cool at least
for thirty minutes before installing the covers.

HELICOPTER PARKING
MOORING
Normal mooring is done by securing the helicopter using ropes attached to the dedicated
mooring rings located on the Main- and Nose landing gear construction and dedicated
anchoring points on a parking spot.
For long duration mooring or transportation of the helicopter on a truck, additional mooring
rings can be installed on dedicated locations at the fuselage topside as indicated in the figure
below.
