TITLE: CREATING A LOGO DESIGN USING DIGITAL ART TECHNOLOGY

MATERIALS (ANY OF THESE)


● Photos of unique/distinct features of your province

● Photos of flora and fauna in your province

● Photos of unique food or cuisine in your province

● Photos/videos of the town fiesta in your province

● Photos of famous personalities from your province

● Photos of unique products from your province

● Use Canva or picarts

● Gadgets

PROCEDURE:
1. Group yourselves according to province or hometown to which you belong (yung group

dito gays yung group nalang sa arts, kung ano group niyo sa demo ayun na group niyo

sa pag gawa neto)

2. Gather the materials you have brought and agree on one or two elements that will be

added to your logo design. Using Canva or other apps.

3 With supervision from your teacher, design the logo, making sure to apply and

incorporate contrast and emphasis in your work.

4. Once all logos have been designed, your teacher will project them in class so you and

your classmates can comment and make suggestions on how they can be improved.

1ST QUARTER

TITLE: CREATING A CARTOON CHARACTER

MATERIALS:
 Folder
 Pencil
 Black pen
 Colored pens or Crayons
 Scissors
 Scotch tape / Masking tape

PROCEDURE:
1. Follow step number 1 of Activity A.

2. Lay the cardboard crosswise and draw the four sides of the character of your choice in

one spread. Start with the left side, followed by the front side, then the right side, and

finally, the back side.

3. Color your drawing. Then, use black pen to draw the outlines and highlight the

2ND QUARTER

TITLE: POSTER ARTWORK

OFF YOU GO!


All social networks sites have an age limit or requirement for people wishing to sign up.
The usual age requirement is 13 years old and above. While those your age unable to join
social networking sites because of the age requirement, discuss with your teacher how you
can share your art with other people. You may start by showing your classmates your artwork.
Another option is to save your work in a CD or USB flash drive and have your teacher project
in class. You may also join art contests offered to kids your age.

MATERIALS:
● Computer, Laptop, or Tablet
● Digital art computer such as Inkscape
● CD or USB flash drive

PROCEDURE:
1. Make an artwork with any digital painting software using as inspiration the works of the
masters such as Vincent van Gogh (see above) or Fernando Amorsolo.
2. Save your artwork as a picture file (.jpg, .gif).
3. Alternatively, you may draw and paint your artwork the traditional way using pencil, and
coloring materials.
4. Make sure you give your work a unique title. Envision that your artwork is being
transferred on a wall as a poster for a big audience to see.
5. Share with the class your plans for your poster project. Talk about your experience in
working on your digital art.

2ND QUARTER

TITLE: GRAPHIC DESIGN STENCIL ART

OFF YOU GO!


In this activity, will design something with the help of a drawing software and some

graphic art that can be a decorate in a public space. Plan a composition for a mural project in

the vinicity of your school.

MATERIALS:
 Drawing software using in cellphone

 Graphic design that you want to draw/copy

 Long bond paper/crayons

PROCEDURE:
1. With the drawing software of your choice, draw the design that you want.

2. Print the drawing that design that you choose.

3. After you printing, cut out the drawing as a stencil.

4. Alternatively, you may draw on a long bond paper with a pencil in the absence of a

cellphone or drawing software, then color using crayons.

5. Use the stencil or drawing as a guide.

6. Then post your work on a wall where many people can see.

7. Evaluate your work using the rubrics below.

TITLE: THE BASICS OF PHOTOGRAPHY

OFF YOU GO!


A. You can take artistic photos of objects, places, or people. Go to a park or playground
in your community. Take photos of interesting subjects. People always make good subjects.
You might find vendors who try to get their customer's attention. It may be interesting to
capture their expressive faces. You might also like to snap shots of smiling children around
you. It is by experimenting that you learn what works and what does not. Experiment on
different angles.

MATERIALS:
● Digital camera (point and shoot or DSLR, phone camera)
● Computer, Laptop, or Tablet
● USB flash drive or blank CD

PROCEDURE:
1. Go to the place of your choice (park, playground, or any place you want, etc.) in your
community.
2. Take photos of the interesting things and artful objects you find interesting. Have a
pleasant demeanor while taking pictures. Ask permission from the people you are
using as subjects of your photos.
3. When you have gathered enough photos, transfer them to the computer, laptop, or
tablet.
4. Choose 3 to 4 of your best photos and give each one a title. 5. Save the photos and
submit your teacher.

3RD QUARTER

TITLE: PRINTING YOUR OWN T-SHIRT

MATERIALS:
 Plain white T-shirt
 Cotton cloth
 Printer
 Iron-on Transfer paper (compatible with your printer)
 Scissor
 Iron
 Flat surface like table or ironing board

PROCEDURE:
1. Gather all the materials that needed for the activity.
2. Design your image or text. Make sure it it’s the size you want from the t-shirt. Ensure
that the design is reversed (mirrored) as it will be ironed onto the shirt in reverse.
3. Print: Load the iron-on transfer paper into your printer. Print your design onto the
transfer paper. Be sure to select the appropriate settings (e.g., quality, paper type) on
your printer.
4. Trim: Use scissors to carefully to carefully cut out your design, leaving a small margin
around the edges.
5. Prepare surface: Lay your t-shirt on hard, flat surface. Make sure it’s clean and free
wrinkles.
6. Preheat the iron: Turn your iron to appropriate temperature setting. Generally, use a
dry, no steam setting.
7. Place Design: Ensure its centered and aligned as you want it to appear on the shirt.
8. Ironing: Place a cotton cloth over the design. Press owns firmly with the iron, applying
even pressure. Move the iron in slow, circular motions covering the entire design area
for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
9. Cooling: Allow the design to cool for few minutes. This is crucial for the ink to set
properly.
10. Peeling: Gently peel off the backing paper from the design. Start at the corner and peel
it back slowly.

TITLE: ACTUAL 3D DIGITALLY-ENHANCED PRODUCTS DESIGN FOR A PAPER BAG

MATERIALS:
● Cartolina/Manila Paper

● Scissors

● Adhesive tape/scotch tape

● Yarn for the handle(if needed)

● Glue(if needed)

● Printed design created using any product design software, or you may print out your

favorite design.

PROCEDURE:
1. Decide on the size of your paper bag.

2. Use cartolina or manila paper for the body of your bag.

3. Search the internet for a template or step-by-step procedure to make a simple paper

bag. Follow the steps and construct your paper bag.

4. Print out letters, and other design element-flowers, animals figures which you will use to

design your bag.

5. Use the different art elements such as lines. shapes, and colors to show contrast and

harmony.

● Digital video camera, smartphone or other gadget with video recording feature

● Tripod

● Computer, laptop, or tablet

PROCEDURE:
1. Discuss with your groupmates and decide what product you wish to promote.

2. Write a short script including voice over and text to be incorporated into the video.

3. Ensure that you have the proper venue or location to shoot your video, Consider

available light, natural or using equipment.

4. Take shots from various angles.

5. Record the voice over component.

6. Edit video using available software.

7. Include appropriate music accompaniment if necessary.
