Name Box in Excel (In Easy Steps)

The name box in Excel can be used to select cells, ranges, or named ranges. You can see the address of the active cell in the name box. You can also type a cell or range address directly into the name box to select it. Additionally, the name box allows you to quickly create named ranges by selecting cells and typing a name. Finally, the drop-down arrow in the name box displays a list of all the named ranges in the active workbook.
