Lessons Learned/Reflections (Focus on knowledge and skills development, attitude

formation, achievements, issues faced and corresponding resolutions)

I was able to know how the kitchen works and how the workflow functions during my
time there. I was also given the chance to do hands-on bread and pastry making by Chef
Allan and also hands-on preparation of other ingredients and dishes by other chefs in the
kitchen. Cleaning the chillers and freezers is also important in order to maintain cleanliness
for the ingredients and also doing inventory of ingredient so that we could know what are the
available dishes that are in the menu

Week 3

Immersion Centre: CHEFSCORP Department/Unit Assigned: Dining Area

Activities/Tasks: (before, during, after)

1. Served Food and Drinks
2. Assisted Customers
3. Learned Basics of Order Taking
4. Cleaning Tables
5. Prepared Tables
6. Arranged Tables and Chairs for an Event
7. Sorted Table and Chair Covers

Lessons Learned/Reflections (Focus on knowledge and skills development, attitude

formation, achievements, issues faced and corresponding resolutions)

In this second week, I found out the that being in the dining area is tiring, but full
experiences that is never taught in school. Being able to interact with guests can be fun and
challenging because most of them are foreign people from different countries. When there
are events scheduled, things get hectic and possibly confusing because the whole dining area
is filled with guests which can sometimes overflow. Overall, being in the dining area is my
favorite assigned area because you can interact with different guests.

Week 3
Name of Student: Hans Joshua Aggabao Track: TVL-HE
Immersion Centre: CHEFSCORP Department/Unit Assigned: Office/Dining
Area

Activities/Tasks:
1. Tally Inventory
2. Fold Envelops
3. Cleaning Tables
4. Served Food and Drinks
5. Assisted Customers
6. Cleaning Tables
7. Prepared Tables
8. Cleaned Water Goblets

Lessons Learned/Reflections (Focus on knowledge and skills development, attitude

formation, achievements, issues faced and corresponding resolutions)

On the third and last week, I was assigned in the office for one day only because the next
day, which is Sunday, people in the office has a day off which means it is closed. Anyways,
we did office work like tallying inventory from other clubhouses and folded paper turning it
into envelopes, it may be tedious, but it is still experience on my end. The next day, I was
moved to the dining area, doing the same thing I usually do which doesn’t really make me
bored at all. I’m really happy of all these experiences in the three weeks’ worth of work
immersion. Because of this, I can finally know what to do in the real world if I were to start
working with experience on my side.
