1. What is an aquaculture/fisheries business project?

The term “fisheries business project” refers to a particular initiative or business endeavor associated
with the commercial side of the fisheries and aquaculture sector. Planning, arranging, and carrying
out tasks that are intended to generate income from the production, processing, or sale of aquatic
goods are typical aspects of this activity. These initiatives can be carried out in a variety of ways, and
their scale can range from modest regional activities to substantial business operations.

2. What do you think is the importance of this subject to you as a BSFAS student?

Maybe the importance of this subject is that it will also sharpen my communication skills, problem
solving skills and this subject is very important for us bsfas students to use when the time comes.

3. What do you think is the importance of discipline of business marketing to the field of
fisheries/aquaculture?

-1.Market Access-Fisheries and aquaculture companies can more effectively reach and penetrate
markets with the use of effective marketing methods. Selling fish items to customers, wholesalers,
merchants, and restaurants requires this.

2.Export and Trade- Marketing is essential for fisheries and aquaculture businesses that conduct
worldwide trade in order to negotiate the intricacies of world marketplaces, abide by trade laws, and
advertise products to customers abroad.

4. What are your expectations regarding the subject? (What you might learn? Or skills acquired after the
course)

I anticipate learning how to examine financial statements, assess investment opportunities, or resolve
difficult accounting problems. I also anticipate developing problem-solving skills, as well as critical
thinking abilities to make wise decisions and apply theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios.

5. If you have the enough capital, what aquaculture/fisheries business would you establish or invest to?
Why?

If I ever have the capital, maybe the best thing I can build is a fishing equipment store, but of course my
store should be close to the sea, of course, and of course everything the fishermen need should be
there, and I will try too. Build a fishpond if my store ever goes bankrupt I still have something to look
forward to
