ASSIGNMENT NO.2
TECHNICAL WRITING

1. What other types of writing could be considered under technical

writing?
- There are so many different sorts of technical writing that we need to take into
consideration. Some of these other types of writing include user manuals, training
materials, reports, proposals, white papers, and more. I also recall what we talked about
at our previous meeting, and I believe we can apply it as well. For example, job
applications and magazines both encourage people to look at what they have to offer,
and some of the material in these two is crucial and specific. Many individuals will
encourage them to put the knowledge they have gained from reading it to use.

2. What other considerations can you give before writing a technical

paper?
- Before starting to compose a technical paper, you should think about your targeted
users, the paper's objective, the broadness and depth of the subject material, the paper's
structure and organization, and the references and citations you will use to support your
claims. The audience for the paper, the purpose of the paper, the scope and depth of the
topic, the structure and organization of the paper, and the resources and references you
will use to support your arguments should all be taken into consideration before writing
a technical paper, even though we are not that good at it. In addition to these factors, it's
crucial to keep in mind the writing style and tone appropriate for the particular technical
subject you are writing about, as well as any additional instructions or specifications
offered by the publisher or instructor.

3. Are there other properties of writing that you can add to make a
technical writer an effective one?
- Indeed, there are a number of writing-related qualities that can help a technical writer
be successful. They include the ability to convey complicated ideas simply and concisely
as well as clarity, correctness, organization, and audience awareness. A technical writer
should also be proficient in research techniques and able to collaborate with subject
matter professionals.

4. Aside from the purposes given about technical writing, can you
think of other purposes which we can add to the list?
- Well, we may add a few more that need more for writing. For example, if we want to
produce technical information, we must first (1) entertain or delight consumers or those
who are easy to obtain,
- then (2) convince or influence a crowd to become more interested
- because (3) we must record their individual experiences or recollections,
- (4) We also need to impart our knowledge or expertise on a specific topic.
- (5) In order for our feelings, thoughts, or opinions to be understood by others, we also
need to articulate them.
- (6) Of course, before we conclude, we must convey crucial details or directives.
- (7) among many others.

5. Are you more inclined toward technical writing or creative writing?

why?
- Technical writing differs from creative writing in that it is written primarily to notify in a
serious way while the former is written primarily to entertain. Because I don't enjoy
writing, I'm not very good at either technical or creative writing. However, if we talk
about creative writing, we mean that you are good at coming up with original ideas for
things to say or write. But the other one talks about how you put some crucial
information on your product.
