1. Purpose : This procedure describes operation and cleaning of grinding machine.

2. Scope : Grinding machine

3. Responsibility:

4. Materials/Equipment to be used: Cleaning solution


Disinfectant Solution: 70 % Alcohol
Water
Lint free cloth
Dilution of cleaning agent

6.1.1 Plug the machine to a 220 v power supply source.

6.1.2 Ensure that the machine is clean.

6.1.3 With the sieve installed and a polybag in a drum underneath the hopper, pour the
materials into the hopper. Switch “on” to start the operation.
Note: Do not load too much material into the hopper to avoid too much pressure
on the sieve.
Caution: Avoid touching the moving parts of the machine during operation

Load the dried material into the grinder. Install the cover and lock tightly after loading
the product.

6.1.4 After use, seal the material/product tightly.


6.1.5 Switch “off” and unplug from power source.
6.2 Cleaning

6.2.1 Unplug the machine from power source.


6.2.2 Vacuum excess powder from the product contact parts and exteriors of the grinder.
6.2.2. Wipe the exteriors with lint free cloth soaked in cleaning solution, wipe again with wet
cloth.
6.2.3 Detach the sieve, rinse the hopper, roller barrel and sieve with tap water until powder
is removed.
6.2.4 Scrub with lint free cloth or sponge soaked in cleaning solution.
6.2.5 Rinse with tap water until free of suds, finally rinse with 10 L of tap water. Let it dry and
re-assemble.
6.2.6 Cover or wrap the product contact parts with plastic.
6.2.7 Disinfect the product contact parts with 70% ethyl alcohol solution after cleaning and
prior to use.
6.2.8 Label the equipment with “Clean tag, PF-002” .
6.29 Have the equipment checked by Area In Charge or Department Head or QA.
