CREATING A QUIZ

Creating QUIZZES THRU A NEW QUESTION

• Step 1: Go to your course/subject


• Step 2: Click on TURN EDITING ON
• Step 3: Click on Add an Activity or Resource
• Step 4: Click QUIZ
• Step 5: General - Fill up all information needed
o Name: QUIZ 1

• Step 6: TIMINGS
o Click enable box to the right side of the OPEN THE QUIZ to edit when the
quiz will be available. The box represents DAY MONTH YEAR HOUR
MINUTES
o Click enable box to the right side of the CLOSE THE QUIZ to edit when
the quiz will be due. The box represents DAY MONTH YEAR HOUR
MINUTES

• Step 7: Click on GRADE


o Grade category – Prelim Quiz or any category to the activity you are doing
o Attempts Allowed : - this indicates how many time can student take your
quiz

• Step 8: Click on Review Options

o Uncheck the boxes of the options. Your review option should look like this:

• Step 9: Save and Return to Course

After creating your Activity or your QUIZ, you are going to add questions to your
quiz

• Step 1: Click on the quiz that you made

• Step 2: then click Edit quiz


• Step 3: Click Add (can be seen on the middle-right part of your screen)

o If you choose from A NEW QUESTION


o Select type of question you wanted to add to the quiz

o For essay: CLICK ON ESSAY then ADD


o Type your question name

o Then type your Question text to the Box

o In default mark: you will put the score of the question you put
o Then click SAVE CHANGES

• Step 3: Once question has been added check the Total marks and Maximum
grade on the right corner of your screen

• Step 4: Click on Save on the right corner of your screen
