Buildex NZ Limited is based in

Auckland, New Zealand and
is a 100% subsidiary of Vinod
Patel & Co Ltd, Fiji. Over the
past several years, Buildex has
focused mainly on distribution
of lighting/electrical products
and other proprietary brands into
New Zealand and Pacific Island
markets. Buildex import and
distribute a comprehensive range
of interior and exterior lighting
products that provide innovative
and energy-efficient solutions
for residential, commercial and
industrial installations.

‘Ecolife’ is the flagship brand

of lighting collection which is
fully tested and compliant to the
relevant Australian/New Zealand
Standards. To maintain high quality
standard, BNZL ensures only
branded components and fittings
are used in the manufacture of the
lights it imports.

 VINOD PATEL TIMOR LESTE

Vinod Patel Timor was started

on 25th June 2015.Timor-Leste
is a new country which gained
independence in 2002 and is an oil
and gas rich country.

The main reason to open up

in Timor-Leste is to looking at
expanding and growing Vinod
Patel into new countries where an
opportunity is identified. Timor-
Leste is an oil and gas rich country
which has a stable Government
now. Both Fiji and Timor-Leste
Government have a good working
relationship. With GDP growth rate
of 8% there are lot of development
work happening in Timor which we
can be part of by supplying quality
construction materials.

Ba Industries Ltd was built on the

noble fundamentals of local pride
and that is by being 100% locally

Tubemakers specializes in the

manufacture of uPVC, mPVC
and PE pipes for potable water,
sewerage, drainage, stormwater,
gas, electrical, and communication
installations.

We have been serving the plumbing,

gas, electrical and communication
installations in Fiji, New Zealand
and the South Pacific Countries
for more than seventeen years.

 METFRAME

Roofing and Metal Building

Systems t/a METFRAME, was
established in 2012. Originally
trading as Steel Tubes from 1986
with the manufacturing galvanised
pipes, galvanised tubing’s and
black tubing the production range
was expanded with the inclusion
of manufacturing roofing iron in
1997.

As a result of this expansion the

Company Name was re branded to
Tubemakers and Roofmart South
Pacific Ltd (TRL), later to separate
its manufacturing processes to
PVC pipe and METFRAME

 PACIFIC FLEXIBLES LTD

Pacific Flexibles Ltd is a new and

rapidly growing flexible packaging
products manufacturer in Fiji. The
products manufactured cater to
the building, FMCG, beverage,
fresh produce and dairy sectors.

Drawing on vast technical

expertise, our business assists in
the development and production
of flexible packaging to help grow
our customers’ brands. Offering
a broad product range of high
performing laminates, bags and
pouches. The company has
commissioned the latest state-of-
the-art manufacturing facility to
cater for the growing needs of Fiji
and the Pacific Islands.

Pacific Cement Limited, formerly

known as Fiji Industries Limited
was established in 1961.

Pacific Cement Limited has been

efficiently operating for 54 years
and is Fiji’s largest supplier of
cement and related services.

We operate fully integrated

grinding cement plant with annual
capacity of over 215,000 tonnes.
This company is jointly owned by
Fijian Holdings Limited and Vinod
Patel Group.

 STANDARD CONCRETE INDUSTRIES

Standard Concrete Industries is

Fiji’s largest supplier of quarry,
ready mix concrete, concrete
blocks & pavers. It is the longest
running company in concrete and
aggregate supply business.

The company was established in

1968 by CSR, Australia. Now this
company is jointly owned by Fijian
Holdings Limited and Vinod Patel
Group.

Humes Industries Limited (HIL),

a subsidiary of Basic Industries
Limited was established in Lami
in 1958, as Humes Industries
(South Seas Ltd) to manufacture
Humespun concrete pipes and
within two years, a second
factory was established in Lautoka
to manufacture pre-stressed
concrete rail sleepers for the C.S.R.
Company Ltd.

HUMES has ventured into a full

range of precast/ pre-stressed
building products to cater for the
ever increasing demand for high
quality, durable and fast tracked
projects.

Oceania Gas is the Pacific Island’s

leading Gas Company. Employing
over 60 staff throughout Fiji
& Samoa, coupled with our
extensive branch, manufacturing

 WHEELS PACIFIC

Wheels Pacific started business

in 2008 as the official dealer in
Fiji for the Great Wall, Foton, and
Geely brand of vehicles. Business
has since expanded to include
new FAW Trucks, TCM forklifts and
quality second hand vehicles from
Japan.

Currently the Wheels Pacific

vehicle showroom is located in
Suva and Nadi. The company
further expanded business to
import and sell TRIANGLE and
COMFORSER brand tyres which
are very popular worldwide. Full
range of passenger, light vehicle,
and truck tyres are available,
suitable for Fiji market and at
competitive prices. Tyre fitting and
wheel alignment services are also
provided for the convenience of
customers.

Our Parts department carries

range of fast moving parts and
a fully-fledged Service Centre,
where we cater for the repair and
service of all makes and types
of vehicles which includes cars,

 EXPORT DIVISON

Vinod Patel Company Limited’s Export Division has been exporting Hardware and Building Materials
to its neighboring islands for over 40 years and is Fiji’s largest Exporter of Hardware and Building
Materials. We currently service 15 Island Nations and have supplied as far as North of Marshall
Islands and as far East of Tahiti. We source materials from Asia, Europe, USA, Australia, New Zealand
and Fiji. We offer our clientele options of shipping their orders directly from these nations to
them or shipping goods out of our bonded warehouse in Fiji. Our products range is diverse and
includes Power Tools, Hand Tools, Safety Equipment, Gardening, Plumbing, Sanitary ware, Tiles,
Hardware, Building Materials, Paints and Office Furniture. We are either exclusive agents or major
distributors for brands such as Makita, Stanley, Sidchrome, Cooper Tools, Cyclone, Nylex, Caroma,
Sabco, Clark, Pex, Rheem, Niro Tiles, Onga Water Pumps, TCL Air Conditioners, Pensonic and GIB
to name a few. We also stock metal roofing and wall cladding, Fencing Materials, and a complete
range of structural and reinforcing steel. We aim to create a long term, sustainable and mutually
beneficial relationship with our suppliers and our valued customers. As part of our Corporate
social Responsibility Programme, Vinod Patel invites high school students from Wallis and Futuna
and hosts a 3-week internship programme where the visitors get an opportunity to enhance their
customer service and retails skills as well as develop their English Speaking Skills. Vinod Patel has
been running this Programme in conjunction with the French Embassy for the last three years and
is committed to continuing this programme for years to come. We look forward to engaging with
