Attach a suitable lifting device to the DPF. 5, Remove the DPF center section (2). 6. Install new muffler kit specified in place of the DPF center section. Be sure'to engage the pin completely and slot on both sides of the muffler. 7. Align the new straps with the identification marks on the inlet and outlet sections. 8. After aligning, position the muffler assembly and tighten the new straps to a torque of 15 £3 Nm (132 # 26 lb in), Engine Software Note: Factory passwords are required to install the decertification flash file. Engine Labels The certified emissions labels on the engine block need to be removed. Install the new decertified emissions labels on the engine block. Refer to the information below for label removal and installation instructions. Removing Adhesive Labels NOTICE Do not install the new film over the old film. Layered labels compromise label adhesion and durability. Adhesive films must be applied to a clean, dry, smooth painted surface. Surface temperature should be between 15° C (59° F) and 27° C (80.6° F). 1, Remove film and discard the pieces. 2. Clean the surface with a 1:1 mixture of isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and water. Use a clean, lint-free paper towel to remove all dirt and adhesive from the surface. Allow the surface to dry before installing the replacement films.
