Introduction:
Enteral nutrition, or tube feeding, is the provision of nutrients through the tube or catheter
while parenteral nutrition means provision of nutrients intravenously. Formulas and
computations involved in preparing tube feeding and administering parenteral solutions are
critical in providing adequate nutritional support to the patients.

Instructions:
1. Create a compilation of formulas that you will learn related to nutrition support (including
but not limited to inherent fluid of natural foods used in blenderized tube feedings,
nutrient content of commercial formulas, osmolality and nutrient content of parenteral
solutions).
2. Group the formulas by concept and arrange them in alphabetical order when your
compilation is complete.
3. Cite the references that you used.
4. Submit your output via Canvas with filename HNF 128_LabSection_
