Part 1: Social Interaction (4’)

Let’s talk about WATCHING TV

1. Do you like watching TV?

Yes, I can spend hours sitting in front of the screen to watch my favourite
programs. It really makes me feel refreshed and reduce my stress after a long
day when I follow one specific TV program.
2. What is your favourite TV programme?
I’m interested in watching TV drama series like Korean drama series and
reality shows. I feel they are not only useful, but also entertaining and
sometimes touching.
3. How much time do you spend watching it?
I’d say all my leisure time is spent on watching TV, nearly 4-5 hours per
day. I love lying down on the bed and choosing any channels as I want by a
remote control. It’s so relaxing and exciting.

Let’s talk about CLOTHES

4. What kinds of clothes do you like most?

I’m a fan of comfortable and casual clothes such as T-shirts, jeans, and
sneakers. I find these clothes not only comfortable but also boost my
confidence.
5. …………… rules & regulations
There aren’t some rules of clothing at my school, I mean I can free to have
different outfits, just wearing a polite outfit. Unlike in my high school, I had
to follow a dress code with white shirt and trousers, from Monday to Friday.
6. What do you think about first when you should wear school?
I prefer price first and foremost when buying something including clothes.
You know, now I a student and I don’t have enough money to get expensive
or luxurious clothes. I usually choose some pieces of items with reasonable
prices and then mix and match them to be suitable with any situations.
PART 2: Individual long talk (4’)
Describe a time when you learned something new.
I’m going to talk about a time that I learned cooking from my mother. If I’m
not mistaken, she taught me how to do it about 4 years ago when I was in
high school. At the time, she asked me if I wanted to learn about it and
suggested that I should as it would be helpful for me in the future. At first, I
felt a bit lazy because cooking to me is a bit time-consuming. After several
days thinking long and hard about it, I decided to give it a try. During the
first few weeks, I always had trouble seasoning my dishes. They usually
ended up either too sweet or too salty. Fortunately, my mother was very
patient and gently walked me through all the difficulties that I had
encountered. Thanks to that, after only just a month, I was able to cook well.
It makes me feel like hours spent in the kitchen are totally great. There're a
few reasons why I believe knowing how to cook matters. For one thing,
cooking at home is cheaper and safer than eating out. I mean I'm the person
who chooses the ingredients and how to process them so I can avoid some
problems. I can also save money. On top of that, it has helped me become
more independent. I can take care of myself wherever I go. For the most
part, I think everyone should learn how to cook regardless of their gender.
FOLLOW-UP:
I like to work with a team when I do assignment at school. Because I can get
more ideas from ideas about how to do smart work from team members. If
your work is quite complicated, Working with others will go faster and
support each other to get a good result. Therefore, Teamwork not only
increases productivity but also upgrades the quality of work.
PART 3: Discussion (4’)
1. This pandemic has changed many things in terms of teaching: who we
are as teachers, the classroom itself as well as the students. As we all
know, in response to the pandemic, schools at all levels needed an shift
and programme toward online education, which can be both an
opportunity and a challenge. To be specific, many schools apply different
approaches and online platforms to teach like Zoom or Google Meet.
2. There are several advantages of self-study. First and foremost, self-
education boosts student's brain activity such as memory function,
concentration function, and so on, which leads to a better result.
Moreover, I also believe that self-education help learners widen
knowledge and experiences. Students can explore, learn and do research
on various projects that they've concerned such as job, extra activities,
fashionable tendency, … As a result, students become more
knowledgeable and confident about fields of life.

PART 1:
1. I usually like to relax and watch TV shows, read books, or listen to
music. I also enjoy going for walks or spending time outdoors if the
weather is nice.
2. Yes, I would definitely like to add one hobby, which is Reading,
because it is a good way to augment our knowledge and learn about
new words.
3. There is a vast difference between the Present And the past. In the
past, people positive time playing cricket games and sitting with their
friends or family member while nowadays, we have mobile phones
and some other electronic equipment, so some people spend their time
using those gadgets.

CITY LIFE:

1. Living in the countryside is more preferable to me. The air quality is

better. People in the countryside seem to be more friendly and kind
than in big cities.

PART 2:

Tet is, without a doubt, the most significant event in Vietnam, as I have
mentioned in the first part. This annual celebration, which usually occurs
at the end of January or the beginning of February, marks the start of a
New Year in the Lunar calendar.

It is time for family reunions and for people to relax after a long year of
hard work, so of course, it always brings an abundance of celebratory
activities.

We will all clean our houses and decorate it with traditional flowers. At
the time of transition between the old and the new year, we often go out
on the streets, look forward to the brilliant fireworks displays and say
“Happy New Year” to each other.

Another traditional ritual in Tet that I truly enjoyed as a child, is to give

and receive Lucky money. Adults will give children or elder people
money in red envelopes as a way of wishing them a healthy and
prosperous new year.

We also spend this time paying homage to our ancestors by making and
feasting on traditional foods such as Chung cake and sticky rice cake.

I think the reason why Tet is so important in VN is because it holds the

meaning of a fresh start for everyone. It carries hope, and really gives us
the opportunity to strengthen our bond with family and friends.

FOLLOW – UP:
Vietnam Teacher's Day is celebrated on November 20th. This special day
is dedicated to honoring educators and teachers for their contributions to
education and the development of students.
PART 3:
1. Yes, I think it is. Obviously people don't always travel abroad at the
weekend, but now that many families have members living in
different parts of the country, I think that travelling to visit family and
maybe friends is a very common activity that most people do.
2. From my perspective, going to other places for any purpose such as
relaxing, studying or working does wonders for the traveler. The first
worth-mentioning benefit here is that this is a chance for us to explore
a whole new culture, enriching our knowledge and experience.
Indeed, the trip helps us actually immerse ourselves in the real life of
local people and perceive things from our own eyes. Secondly, the
more we travel, the more opportunities we may encounter. What I
mean is that we would never know what kind of chance in business or
in studying or even in our marriage that we would come across. To be
more specific, meeting a new business partner or even our significant
other is all possible during the trip.

kiến thức và kinh nghiệm của mình. Thật vậy, chuyến đi giúp chúng
tôi thực sự hòa mình vào cuộc sống thực của người dân địa phương

Part 1
1. I don't have time about shopping so I don’t go very often, I only go
shopping when necessary because I'm not a big shopper.

2. I bought my mom a beautiful bouquet to decorate our house on her

birthday, she loved it and thanked me very much.

3. I prefer shopping with my friend because they know what will fit me
and I also can spend more time with them more than shopping alone.
Part 2
I would like to tell you about my favorite animal, my favorite animal is
lions because their manes seem very supple. I’ve liked lions ever since I
watched the Disney movie, The Lion King, when I was young. They are
known as the king of the jungle because their physical strength like no
other animal, yet it never backs down from a fight. They are also known
as the symbol of bravery, strength and royalty. I like them because even
though they are big or ferocious, they are still just a big cat, with the
behavior of a sleeping cat.
Following question
I don't think lions will love children. Even though they have behaviour of
a cat, it's too dangerous to touch them. Even adults are afraid of a lion,
not to mention children because of their ferocity and brutality. They are
not friendly at all, so they are nicknamed the king of the jungle.
Task 3
1. Every animals around the world play an important role in keeping
ecosystems in balance and adding to the planet's biodiversity. They can
provide food, medicine and raw materials.

2. Humans nowadays illegally hunt and kill animals caused serious

consequences to wild animals.They are threatened and in serious danger
of extinction.

PART 1:
1. I don’t play any sports, but I play badminton. First, it helped me to
better health. Last but not least, I made plenty of cool friends who
supported me a lot in life.
2. Well, I guess in Vietnam right now, it’s football. I think football is
considered the king of sports. It’s very easy to play. All you need is
just a ball, a few friends and two goals, which you can always make or
create by marking the ground with, you know, a piece of clothing or
bags, for example. And I think it’s a competitive sport, it can be very
enjoyable to watch and play.
3. There is a variety of ways for people in Vietnam to stay strong like
doing exercise, going to the gym, balancing daily diet and so on.
These activities can help people be healthy. To put it another way,
they can have good health condition and set a limit on stress level

WEATHER

1. To describe the weather in Hanoi, I have only 1 word - unpredictable.

Just imagine having a clear blue sky and all of a sudden, there
is torrential rain! And you know, getting caught in the rain is not a
nice feeling so I always check the weather forecast and bring my rain
jacket when I go outside.Of course the weather is not always like that
but it’s my biggest impression of Hanoi.
2. Fortunately, no. however, experts have warned of more severe
weather conditions this year, particularly a drought and heat wave.
3. The best time to visit my hometown is during the spring, from
February to april, when The weather is mild, making it pleasant for
outdoor exploration. The traditional Tet holiday in February is a
vibrant and culturally rich time to experience.

PART 2:

"Đuổi hình bắt chữ" is a TV program that I really enjoy. It's an

intellectual game show with many fascinating elements.

What impresses me about this program is how it combines cultural

knowledge, vocabulary, and logical reasoning skills. The way players
have to combine vocabulary and deduction to correctly guess the word or
phrase based on the clues is a very interesting challenge.

Moreover, I appreciate how the show maintains its competitive nature,

fun, and connection with the audience. The host's humor, along with the
tension in each round, creates a fantastic entertainment experience.

For me, "Đuổi hình bắt chữ" is not just an entertaining TV program; it's
an opportunity to expand knowledge and sharpen thinking skills. It
brilliantly combines learning and entertainment in a wonderful way.

I usually watch the show 'Đuổi hình bắt chữ' with my family. During the
program, we often discuss the answers and try to guess who among the
contestants has the most potential to win.

PART 3:

1. Game shows involving word puzzles and intellectual challenges,

similar to "Đuổi hình bắt chữ," tend to attract a mixed audience,
including some young people. However, the popularity among the
younger demographic can vary based on individual preferences and
the diversity of entertainment options available. Some young viewers
 might enjoy the mental stimulation and competitive nature of such
