CLOSING CEREMONY SPEECH

- Pupils and teachers take their seats. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, the ceremony
would be starting shortly, please take your seats in a hurry.
- Excellency Honorable, Respectable all teachers, Dear pupils, ladies and gentlemen,
Assalamualaikum War. Wab And a very good morning to all. Ladies and Gentleman, we are
here today for the closing ceremony of English Carnival Beaufort District level for 2023.
Before we proceed further this morning, I would like to invite the fellow teachers and pupils
to stand up straight for the singing of our National Anthem Negaraku. (*Thank you very
much. Teachers and pupils please be seated.)
- Ladies and Gentlemen, so as to pray for blessings for this morning’s gathering, I would like
to invite Ustaz Muhd. Syakir Iman for the recital of Doa. *Thank you _________. Every
journey has its end and every path does stop somewhere. And now, we have come to the end
of that journey. However, this only marks the end of the English Carnival, not the knowledge
and practice in using the language which should be carried on and enhanced further. Let us
now continue with the speech by our organizing chairperson, Puan Fadzilah bt Kifli, the
Headmistress of SK Kota Klias. I would like to welcome Puan Fadzilah to the stage to deliver
her speech. (Thank you Puan for the speech.)

- This year’s English Carnival has been organized by Klias zone. During the carnival, we
have had five fun and entertaining activities where we have heard storytelling, public
speaking, poem recitation, Dare to Spell and Scrabble.
- Before we proceed any further, we would like to invite _______________________ to
receive the certificates for Technical Officers and judges who are being exceptional and
dedicated to their job.
- Now we will witness the hand over of the final result from the Head of Judge to the Head of
Tehcnical Officer.
- It is the time for giving appreciation to all participants who had work very hard in the

winners.
