Materials / Students will work with their English book provided by The Ministry of Education. English-Spanish dictionary (physical or virtual). The book will help students
follow the structure of dialogue and how they could create questions and answers, providing key expressions.

Description of the This is an 8th-grade class from a public school ( with a high risk of social vulnerability) in a rural commune called Treguaco in the Ñuble region. Most of the
target group and students are a bit shy and few students can communicate in English. Some of them have difficulties with the language. Some of them do not like talking in
front of the class, they prefer pair or group work where they feel comfortable asking their peers.

programme (that helps with learning strategies adapted for students with special needs) There are 28 students: 16 boys and 12 girls. They have some
problems listening but not in reading activities. Sometimes they struggle with speaking. This lesson belongs to unit 2 and lesson 1.

These students have many interests such as playing video games, using social media, doing sports and singing songs such “rancheras” genre. However,
when facing to new things or content which they are not familiarized with, tend to be reluctant.
