Interviewee Well, my full name is Nguyen Thi Yen


Quyen. I just graduated with a major in
Human Resource Management from the
Institute of International Training at
Thuongmai univerity. Although I just
graduated, I have more than 1 year of
experience working as a recruitment
officer at a software company, with this
position I work both part-time and full-
time. In addition, when I was at
university, I also participated in some
organizations and clubs such as the
Foreign Language Club with the position
of Head of the English Department and
the Student Union.
I hope that with my experience and
enthusiasm, I will meet the requirements
and be suitable for the position offered by
the company.

Interviewer 1 - What strengths and weaknesses do you


see yourself having?
- And if you could only use 3 words to
describe yourself, which words would
you use?

Interviewee Actually, the three words are


"optimistic", "responsible" and
"creative".
I find that one of my greatest strengths is
being a responsible person. I am always
ready to sacrifice my personal time and
implement any option, as long as I
complete the assigned task. Specifically, I
was assigned many important
responsibilities when I was in university
such as the head of the professional
department, the leader of the groups.
I have a bad habit of getting angry easily.
If anyone does not work as I expected, I
often feel uncomfortable inside and need
alone time to calm down. However, after
joining clubs and working. I found my
weakness has improved by about 80%,
and I hope to eliminate this badness soon
in the future.

Interviewer 2 Thank you. So in your opinion, what is


the duty of a Personnel officer?

Interviewee According to me, HR specialists carry out


recruitment according to the approved
plan and when the company has a need
for personnel.
Negotiating salaries, contracts, working
conditions or redundancy, packages with
staff/ representatives.
Recruiting, training and developing staff
Pensions and benefits administration
Looking after the health, safety and
welfare of all employees.
Organizing salaries payments.

Interviewer 4 There are many candidates who are as


confident as you or even more, so what
do you think makes you stand out from
other candidates?

Interviewee I used to work as a collaborator for a


small part of FPT, I feel that I can meet
the professionalism in the working style
here, and at the same time, I also find
myself suitable for the company culture.

Interviewer 2 Now we have a situational question for


you: FPT is about to organize an IT
contest for students, so how will you
market to attract a large number of
participants?

Interviewee I will be reaching out to my friends at the (think about it for 20 seconds before

organize a seminar to introduce the
contest, its importance and highlight the
prize to attract more friends. I realize that
today there are many new graduates who
have not even graduated but are very
talented, dynamic and brave. They are not
afraid of difficulties and challenges to get

experience for themselves.

Interviewer 3 What are your comments about FPT's


current activities and events?

Interviewee FPT is increasingly focusing on students,


the talents for the future development of
the company. I think that's the right
direction.

Interviewer 4 Do you have any questions for us?

Interviewee Yes, I have a question. Can you tell me


what you like most about working at the
company?

Interviewer 4 To be honest, I worked for many years at


another company before coming to FPT. I
quite liked the place, however, there were
many cases where there were tasks I was
given that didn't allow me to expand my
opportunities and skills. My promotion
opportunities are also unclear even
though I have been working for 3 years.
After becoming an employee of FPT, as
you can see, after only 2 years I was
promoted to the position of head of the
human resources department and am
sitting here today. I think what FPT can
do is create an environment for
employees to have the opportunity to
learn, develop and be creative with
attractive remuneration.
