AMENDMENT OF CONTRACT AGREEMENT
THIS AMENDMENT OF AGREEMENT is made and entered into on the ___ day of
March 2013 E.C, ----------- between TRANSPORT AND ROAD DEVELOPMENT
Department (herein after referred to as the “Client), on the one part and
Association (herein after referred to as the contractor” on the other part.

Whereas the two parties (TRANSPORT AND ROAD DEVELOPMENT


DEPARTMENT and -----------------) had signed an agreement dated on the -------Day

The two parties (TRANSPORT AND ROAD DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT


and Association), hereby agrees as follows:

1. The Unit Price of the contract agreement to be revised & the work to be completed

by the new Unit price of each item. The revised BOQ is part of this agreement.
2. The Unit Price revision is only for the unpaid items only. Previous payments

remain as it was.All the remaining works should be calculated & quantified on this
Amendment.
3. The Contractor must submit remaining work schedule. The Contractor must finish
the remaining work by its revised Schedule. The Schedule is part of this
agreement.
4. Other duties and responsibilities between the parties shall bind by the contract

made dated on .

NOW THEREFORE, the parties hereby agree to honor, execute, discharge or cause to
discharge their responsibilities and liabilities for the orderly performance of the main and
these Amendment Agreements. In Witnesses Whereof, The Parties (Transport And Road
Development Department and Assn.) Here to have caused this amendment
of agreement to be signed in their respective names as of the day and the year above
written.
The Amount of the Amended Agreement is birr ( ) including VAT,
