A sedan attempted to turn left from a private driveway and crossed both eastbound lanes into the path of an approaching motorcycle. The motorcycle swerved but still struck the sedan, and the motorcycle driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The Florida Highway Patrol and Quincy Police Department responded to the crash.

Narrative:
Vehicle 01 was traveling northbound and attempted to make a left turn from a private driveway onto US Highway 90
to travel westbound. Vehicle 02 was traveling eastbound in the outside lane approaching the private driveway. The
driver of Vehicle 01 continued out of the driveway and attempted to cross both eastbound lanes. Vehicle 01 crossed
both lanes in the direct path of Vehicle 02. The driver of Vehicle 02 veered to the left into the inside lane and then
into the turn lane attempting to avoid the collision, however, Vehicle 01 was partially in the turn lane and the front
of Vehicle 02 struck the left side of Vehicle 01. The driver of Vehicle 02 was pronounced deceased on scene by
Gadsden County EMS.

The Florida Highway Patrol was assisted by Quincy Police Department.
