The Cass County COA is a non-profit organisation that aims to empower and help adults to
live a life full of energy, independence, hope and dignity. This non-profit charity organisation
offers a wide range of care and consultancy services to the adults. By providing life-enhancing
care services to thousands of people, the organisation aims to promote social and community
relationships through interactive learning classes, in-home care services, legal and medical
services, fitness programs and other personal development activities.
Our services include home cares, support groups, congregate and home delivered meals,
transportation services, as well as programs, activities and trips based out the two main
locations and the satellite locations.
Cass County COA collaborates with local, regional, and statewide entities to strengthen
program services and create community partnerships to better serve our senior population.
Through the volunteering programs, this organisation helps the older adults and their families
in various ways including home maintenance and repairs, medical assistance, education,
counselling and providing information regarding their health benefits, health and prescription
plans and other relevant matters. The older adults with disabilities including dementia are
being engaged in various activities that keep them active, healthy and involved. The ultimate
goal of the COA is to explore the inner power of the COA seniors through various learning
programs, discussions, sports, fitness programs, social engagement and other care services.
The staff members at COA know the adults and make them happy and fulfilled through their
truly person-centered care. Thus, to make positive differences in people’s lives is the core
value of the organisation.
Since people and their communities are at the centre of our mission, the COA professionals
and its volunteers value the community relationship most and put their best efforts to
enhance the quality of life in communities. Besides, the care providers and other team
members develop a close relationship with the older adults and the adults with disabilities.
Our aim is to recognise the dignity of every human spirit and acknowledge their abilities.
Innovation is another core objective in COA and our life-changing programs, classes and
activities transform people’s lives through personal development.
Operation Team
At Cass County COA, we have a very friendly, highly skilled and professional team of
professionals who prioritise their services and ensure a culture of transparency throughout
all of their activities. Our operation team develops the internal policies. And analyse the
performance and functionality of the
The Chief of Operations and Finance is the supreme authority in the organisation under who
all other staff members perform their duties. The Bookkeeper in this non-profit charity
organisation works as a part of the operation team, while his core duties include all of the
bookkeeping functions.
As a member of the operation team, our Billing Clerk performs his duties skilfully and sharply
prepares and manages all the billing documents and tracks invoices, payments and donations
made by people to the charity.
Our IT and A/V Support Coordinator is the all in all to take care of the IT section that includes
server access and management, setting up the IT and A/V requirements for meetings,
conferences and training events. This position also conducts classes on basic IT and
Technologies for the organisation while he also helps the veterans to learn how to use
smartphones, computers and other handy IT tools. Being the key person in IT section, the IT
Coordinator also ensures a strong database management of the core tracking system, data
input and pulling reports. The IT Coordinator S an operation team member also collects
numbers for preparing monthly reports to the SNA and AAA. While cooperation and
consistency are the core ethics at Cass County COA, the IT Coordinator occasionally takes the
lead to cover billing duties which are generally done by the Billing Clerk. To ensure consistency
and efficiency in this service, the IT Coordinator is cross trained.
Our Switchboard Operator answers all phone calls and provides an unforgettable experience
to people through his excellent customer service, communication and professional ethics.
Operation Professionals
Our Operation Professionals have a broad set of skills which are required to accomplish the
tasks very sincerely to uphold the reputation of the organisation. They have an in-depth
understanding of finance, marketing strategies, sales techniques and production processes.
With their professional skills, they always prove their efficiency, trustworthiness and
professionalism.
Our Active Living team members as a part of operation team, run the fitness centre and offer
activities, events, education and social opportunities for seniors in the resident COA
community.
Our Community development team has a through understanding of the marketing and
fundraising for the organisation and the Operations. The Finance team does the budgeting,
trend tracking, planning and overhead operations for the organisation. With an organised
staff culture, our care services for adults offer a variety of special care services to the
community including home care, meals on wheels, congregate dining, tax consultancy , legal
help and adult day service.
All of the positions in the charity report to the Chief of Operations who can backfill and
support any position in the organisation, whereas the Chief of Operations reports to the CEO,
regarding the operation, consistency and other marketing strategies and outcomes.
