When you are travelling you can go to a lot of different places.

are a lot of different objects of historical, artistic, scientific or
cultural value. They usually have exhibits about a topic. For
example The Natural History Museum in New York has got
scientific value and it shows and teaches the visitors about a
lot of different fossils from the past and from the present.

You can go to art galleries. Galleries are places that show

and sometimes sell works of art. If you like paintings, you
can go to galleries to see them. They also usually have
exhibits about a certain artist or type of art. For example,
the Tate in London shows visitors British art, international
art and contemporary art.

You can go to parks. Parks are like small or

big gardens that everyone can enjoy. There’s
grass, trees, and some even have fountains.
You can go to parks to run, play sports, have a
picnic, play with your pets, or have fun with
friends.

You can also go to theatres. Theatres are places

where you can watch people act on a stage. These
acts are called plays and they can be funny, romantic,
sad, scary, and have music. It’s like a cinema but
the people are not inside a movie, they are in
front of you.
