Garjang Upatyaka Hydropower Limited is operating Chaka Khola Hydroelectric project


(2.83 MW) located at Golulganga Gaupalika-01, Ramechhap District. The project is
evacuating power through Jiri 33/11 kV Distribution substation which is located at
Dolakha District. However due to frequent tripping, switching and overloading problem
on NEA 33 kV transmission system, Company is losing revenue significantly. So Company
is planning to change the connection point to the nearby 132/33 kV Garjang Substation
to reduce the frequent generation outage problem. The general layout of project is
shown in figure below:
