Fashion girl
My name’s Anna Clarke. I’m 18 years old and I’ve got my own fashion blog.
My dad’s a fashion photographer, so we always have a lot of magazines around the house.
When I was younger, I liked cutting out photos and sticking them on big sheets of paper to
make posters. I liked writing about the clothes in the posters that I made, so I decided to
start writing a blog.
I write about clothes and accessories that I think girls and boys of my age will like. I get my
ideas by looking at the clothes that famous young actors or pop artists are wearing. Of
course, a lot of these clothes are too expensive, so I look for places online that sell them
cheaper.
When I was younger, I didn’t want to wear clothes that were different from my friends’
clothes. And many of my friends had very expensive clothes! Now, I’m in not interested in
that. Right now, I just want clothes that are easy to wear.
I usually write at the weekend and I try to post something every week. I prefer to write
shorter pieces. I do this because I don’t want my readers to wait a long time for a new blog
post.
I love writing. And if you want to be a writer, then don’t go on expensive courses. The best
thing is to read lots of other blogs and magazines. And then, practise writing as much as you
can!
