Procedures of Windows 10!

This Self-Learning Module was collaboratively designed, developed and

reviewed by educators from the Schools Division Office of Pasig City headed by its
Officer-in-Charge Schools Division Superintendent, Ma. Evalou Concepcion A.
Agustin, in partnership with the City Government of Pasig through its mayor,
Honorable Victor Ma. Regis N. Sotto. The writers utilized the standards set by the K
to 12 Curriculum using the Most Essential Learning Competencies (MELC) in
developing this instructional resource.

This learning material hopes to engage the learners in guided and independent
learning activities at their own pace and time. Further, this also aims to help learners
acquire the needed 21st century skills especially the 5 Cs, namely: Communication,

LESSON

Windows 10 is an operating system that was produced by Microsoft, released

as part of the Windows NT family of operating systems. The product was released to
manufacturing on July 15, 2015, and broadly released for the general public on July
29, 2015. The notable features is its support for universal apps, an expansion of
the Metro-style apps. Universal apps can be designed to run across multiple
Microsoft product including PCs, tablets, smartphones and embedded systems. The
Windows user interface was revised to handle transitions between a mouse-oriented
interface and a touchscreen-optimized interface based on available input devices.

1. Select the language then click next button, and click Install now.

2. Enter the product key. This is the 25-character key that came with the
purchased Windows 10.

3. Accept the license agreement. Once you have read the agreement, click
accept.

4. Click Custom Install. Custom will allow to do a complete installation of

Windows 10.

5. Select the drive to install Windows 10, can format a drive here as well.

6. Wait for Windows install files.

7. Use Express settings.

8. If you choose to Customize the settings, includes the contact, calendar,

input, location data, browser data, connectivity, and error reporting. Read
these carefully to decide if you want to turn the settings on or off. Then
click Next.

9. Sign in to Windows 10 with Microsoft account, if you don’t have a Microsoft

account, you can create one.
