Seminar Reprt On Artificial Intelligence
Seminar Reprt On Artificial Intelligence
Exploration
I. Introduction:-
Artificial Intelligence (AI), a field at the intersection of
computer science, mathematics, and cognitive
psychology, has witnessed unparalleled growth,
transforming the way we perceive and interact with
technology. The objective of this seminar report is to
provide a thorough examination of the historical
evolution, fundamental concepts, applications, ethical
considerations, challenges, and future directions of AI.
1.1 Background:-
In recent years, AI has become a pervasive force in our
daily lives, from virtual personal assistants to advanced
machine learning algorithms powering recommendation
systems. As we stand at the precipice of an AI-driven
era, understanding the roots and evolution of this
technology becomes crucial. AI, in its essence, refers to
the ability of machines to imitate intelligent human
behavior, a concept that traces back to ancient times.
1.2 Objectives of the Seminar:-
The primary objectives of this seminar are multifaceted.
We aim to unravel the historical journey of AI,
investigate the core concepts that underpin its
functioning, scrutinize its diverse applications across
industries, delve into ethical considerations, dissect
prevailing challenges, and explore the potential
trajectories that AI might take in the future.
2.4 AI Winter:-
The fervor surrounding AI in its early days eventually
waned, giving way to what is known as the "AI winter."
Funding dried up, progress stagnated, and the lofty
expectations of creating truly intelligent machines
seemed distant. This period of disillusionment,
occurring in the late 1970s and 1980s, prompted a
reevaluation of the field's goals and methodologies.
