I. Introduction
Dibabawon I Elementary School, nestled in the heart of our
community, holds the well-being and safety of our students as our foremost
priority. Recognizing the critical importance of safeguarding children from all
forms of harm, the upcoming Learning Action Cell session aims to provide
comprehensive training on the Child Protection Policy. This policy
underscores our commitment to creating a secure and nurturing
environment for every student, ensuring their physical and emotional safety
throughout their educational journey.
In the current landscape of our school, while our educators
demonstrate unwavering dedication to their students, there exists a need for
heightened awareness and understanding of the intricacies of child
protection. The session will address the nuances of the Child Protection
Policy, emphasizing the identification, prevention, and response to potential
risks and dangers that children may encounter. It will also cover reporting
mechanisms, the importance of maintaining confidentiality, and the
collaborative role of teachers, staff, and parents in upholding the school's
commitment to child protection. By empowering our educators with the
knowledge and skills necessary to implement and adhere to the Child
Protection Policy, we aim to create a safer learning environment that fosters
trust and ensures the well-being of every child in our care.
The Equal Opportunities Principle (EOP) shall always be observed in
participating in this activity where all individuals are fully recognized
regardless of gender, religion, ethnicity, and political affiliation.
