This document presents a rubric for evaluating problem solving skills with four levels of achievement: exemplary, proficient, developing, and beginner. The exemplary level evaluates a variety of appropriate sources critically using multiple criteria. It provides multiple analyzed solutions customized to the problem considering various contextual factors. The proficient level also evaluates different sources using criteria, provides a clear solution analyzed and related to the problem. The developing level evaluates a limited number of sources using basic criteria and provides a solution not clearly articulated or related to the problem. The beginner level evaluates a few sources using restricted criteria and proposes a solution but does not assess or justify it.
