ACR-PreWork 2023

1) New Cabalan Senior High School conducted three sessions for their Pre-Work Immersion Program Activities for TVL learners from November 7-22, 2023. 2) The first session provided an orientation on the work immersion program guidelines and taught resume and cover letter writing. The second session included a mock job interview simulation. The third session involved signing memorandums of agreement with industry partners. 3) Over 100 TVL-ICT learners participated across the three sessions to prepare for their upcoming work immersion experiences through guidance from teachers and interactions with potential employers.

Immersion Program and the essential parts of the resume and cover
letter.

b. Immerse TVL Learners in standard entry-level job interview simulation.


c. Familiarize TVL Learners on the process of coordinating with the school’s
industry partners regarding the signing of the Memorandum of
Agreement (MOA).

Session 1 (November 7, 2023, Audio-Visual Room, 1:00 to 4:30 pm)

On November 7, 2023, the inaugural session of the Pre-Work Immersion


Activities for TVL-ICT learners unfolded with resounding success under the
stewardship of Dr. Susan T. Laxamana and her innovative educational
initiative, Project CALEX (Class-paced Asynchronous Learning Experience). Dr.
Laxamana, a guiding force, provided a comprehensive orientation to the eager
learners, elucidating the intricacies and vital facets of the forthcoming Work

Immersion Program. Her insightful guidance laid a robust foundation for the
students, ensuring a profound understanding of the program's guidelines.
Additionally, Sir Dato played a pivotal role in enhancing the learners'
employability skills, focusing on the crafting of effective resumes and cover
letters. The session proved to be an invaluable experience, equipping the
students with essential knowledge and skills as they embark on their journey
towards professional development.

Session 2 (November 21, 2023, Admin Office, 1:00 – 4:30 pm)

On November 21, 2023, the second session of the Pre-Work Immersion


Activities unfolded triumphantly with a Mock Job Interview for TVL-ICT
learners. The immersive experience was expertly facilitated by the school's
adept hiring specialists, including Dr. Susan T. Laxamana (HUMSS Group
Head), Zaldy D. Danaytan Jr. (TVL Group Head), and Jean Irish F. Aragon
(ADAS II). The learners were seamlessly immersed in a simulated standard
entry-level job interview, providing them with a hands-on opportunity to hone
their interview skills and gain practical insights into the expectations of the
professional world. This pivotal session not only showcased the commitment of

On November 22, 2023, the eagerly anticipated Part 1 of the Work
Immersion Proper commenced with the momentous signing of the Memorandum of
Agreement (MOA) by the School's Industry Partners. Sir Zaldy D. Danaytan Jr., HT-III
and TVL Group Head, and Sir Joseph R. Mondoñedo, T-II HUMSS Social Science and
School Work Immersion Program Coordinator, orchestrated the formal launch,
meeting with esteemed industry collaborators. The signing ceremony involved two
proprietors, Patrick Escua of One Ad Printing Services and Johnny R. Pajela of John
Graphics Image, along with Joecela Cabrera, the technical manager of Xymbolic IT
Solutions Provider. The event was graced by the presence of select TVL-ICT learners
who are set to participate in the program. This symbolic collaboration signifies the
commitment of both the educational institution and its industry partners to the
holistic development and real-world preparation of the students as they embark on
this enriching Work Immersion journey.
