DRAMA
It is also know as theater
or plays which is a
specialized kind of story
written to be performed
in front of an audience.
DRAMA
It is written with
dialogues among the
characters. Actors learn
their dialogues from a
script or written texts.
CAST OF CHARACTERS
The actors
who appear
in the play.
PROTAGONIST
The main
character of the
story.
ANTAGONIST
The main enemy of
the protagonist.
Also known as the
“villain”
SETTING
It tells when and
where the drama
takes place.
DIALOGUE
The lines spoken by
the actors are a
conversation between
the characters.
STAGE DIRECTIONS
These are instructions
that tell the actors what
to do on stage , where
to stand, or how to
deliver their lines.
PROPS
Objects or things
that actors need
during the play.
SCENERY
Painted screens,
backdrop, and other
materials that help a
stage look like a city,
streets, woods, etc.
BLOCKING
The position,
movements, and
emotions that the
characters should
express while staging.
ACTS AND SCENES
Longer plays are divided
into acts, like chapters in
a book. Scene divided the
acts. Each time changes,
there is another scene.
TONE MOOD
The writer's The feeling the
feeling about reader gets from
the topic. the writing.
CHARACTERIZATION
It displays the character’s
physical characteristics,
personality traits,
motivation, private
thoughts, and action.
SENSORY IMAGES
A strategy readers use to think more deeply
about a text. It is when a reader combines
their schema and the information in the text
to create an image in their mind.
THEME
The deeper
message or
central idea.
