LISTENING AND SPEAKING SKILLS
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
• Listens attentively with understanding.
• Follows commands and instructions.
• Gives appropriate answers.
• Pronounces correctly.
• Is able to speak (4-5) sentences on a given topic.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE
• Uses grammatically correct language in his / her speech (making use of the
grammar already done and change the number.)
• Is able to speak few lines on the given topic.
READING AND WRITING SKILLS
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
• Reads with proper pronunciation and speed.
• Is able to draw simple inferences from the reading material.
• Is able to develop rich vocabulary bank.
• Is able to write neatly and legibly with correct spellings and proper formation.
• Can frame sentences on his own.
• Can take simple dictation of words and small paragraph.
• Expresses ideas in 5-7 sentences imaginatively.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVEs
• To inculcate values while reading of the chapter.
• Is able to identify plurals of words(from the chapter)
• Is able to comprehend the unseen passage.
ACTIVITIES
• Change the number.
PARENTS COOPERATION
• Make the child read all the chapters at home too.
• Reading Practice from non text-books.
• Make the child learn the spellings of new words.
• Help them to enhance the speaking skills.
• Converse in English in simple sentences.
• Keep revising the grammar concepts (Naming words, doing words , describing
words, past tense and change the number) done in the school, at home too.

Learning Outcomes
The students will be able to:-
• Identify past tense words in a given sentence.
• Answer the questions asked correctly.
• Frame sentences for the given words.
• Arrange words to frame a meaningful sentence.
• Understand concept of one and many and will be able to change words from
one to many.
• Comprehend the given passage and will be able to answer the questions based
on passage.
• Enhance their vocabulary by learning new words and using it in their day to
day life.

MATHEMATICS
CHAPTER - Multiplication will be continued, length ( introduction)
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
• Students can form tables of 5-10.
• Understands multiplication concept as repeated addition and can apply in their
daily life.
• Can solve story sums.
• Can multiply 2 digit number with one digit number.
• Can handle sums mentally.
• Understands the concept of length.

ACTIVITY
• Measuring of table, almirah etc using an unsharped pencil.
• Number line activity.
Parent Cooperation
• Help the children learn the tables.
• Help the children jumping on number lines.
• Parents will help their wards in multiplying 2 digits with one digit numbers.
• Provide the children with a new pencil and inch tape for activity.
• Parents can take their children to a tailor or carpenter for better understanding
of the concept.
Learning Outcomes
• Students will be able to use multiplication to make calculation easy and fast.
• Students will be able to form the table of 5-10.
• Students will be able to multiply 2 digit no.s with one digit no.
• Students will be to apply the concept of multiplication in daily life problems.
• Will be able to measure room, table, window etc. using a pencil and scale.
