atmospheres of device group II, category 3 with a "low"
risk of mechanical hazard according to the harmonized
standards EN 60079-0 and EN 61241-0.
For use in zones with a "high" risk of mechanical load
according to these standards , precautions for reducing
the risk of mechanical loads to "low" have to be taken.
The user has to perform an assessment of the place of
installation and the operating conditions (risk assess-
ment).

Mating connector
For power supply, the mating connector (material no.
R901044595, separate order) can be used. In plugged condi-
tion, this mating connector does not comply with the “low” im-
pact resistance requirement according to EN 60079-0.
Alternatively, a different mating connector according to EN
175201-804 (design R), housing size 14S or according to
MIL-C5015 can be used. In this case, ensure that it can only
be loosened using a tool.
The user has to perform an assessment of the place of instal-
lation and the operating conditions (risk assessment) and im-
plement appropriate measures to protect the mating connec-
tor.
