Greetings! We are presently conducting a study entitled “COLLEGE STUDENTS’ AWARENESS


AND BEHAVIOR TOWARDS PROPER WASTE DISPOSAL WITHIN SCHOOL
PREMISES”, as a requirement of the course in SCI 121 (research in teaching Science 2). We would
like to request your help and cooperation by answering the instruments sincerely and truthfully, rest
assured that utmost confidentiality of the data gathered will be observed. Attached herewith are the
two (2) questionnaires, namely: Students’ awareness and Students behaviour towards proper
waste disposal. Your positive action, support and cooperation on this request will be of great help in

Direction: Thoroughly examine the list of awareness provided below and identify the ones that
resonate with you the most. Using the scale, indicate the level of students’ awareness towards to
proper waste disposal as follows: (3) Fully Aware; (2) Partially Aware and (1) Not Aware.

Waste Management Act of 2000.

labels for segregation.

11. I am aware of R.A. 8749 or also known as Philippine Clean Air Act.
12. I am aware of presidential decree No. 825 or also known as citizens in the
Philippines must clean their own surroundings.

2004.
14. I am aware of prohibited activities Littering throwing or dumping of waste
in public places such as a roads, rooms, etc.

PART III. STUDENTS’ BEHAVIOUR IN THE PRACTICE OF PROPER WASTE DISPOSAL
