work.
Performance Standard:

B. Exploration
The teacher groups the pupils into three.
Teacher will distribute Activity Cards.
Teacher will guide the pupils in doing their activity.
Have the pupils discuss the physical changes that happen among girls during puberty.
Remind and encourage pupils to report their works after ten minutes (10min.)
C. Explanation
Let representatives from each group present/report their works.
Teacher will asks question after the reporting.

D. Elaboration
Teacher adds additional information.
When girls reached the age of eight, puberty begins. Changes develop inside
their body. The ovaries start to produce and secrete hormone called estrogen
which develops the female secondary sexual characteristics.
It is possible that one of the breasts grows faster than the other one but by the
time the breasts are fully developed the difference in their shape and size are
reduced.
By the time that girls are 16 years old, they attain about 98% of the final
height that she will eventually grow to.
Menstruation is a normal process that every healthy and sexually mature girl and
woman undergo generally once every month. First occurrence is between the
ages of 9 to 14 yrs. old, also called menarche.
What are the physical changes that happen among girls during puberty?
Maelyn is having her menstruation. What should she do to make herself clean?
If you are confuse and feel discomforts with the physical changes that you are experiencing, to
