Introduction
Golden Yadanar Myaing Construction Co., Ltd is one of Myanmar’s major building
construction and we construct Individual Projects as novice by using digital technologies in
project management. Changing technologies are used in this project and we need to report
our individual project to the Construction Co., Ltd. And, it is needed to formulate a project,
manage a project and evaluate potential project management solutions.
I present to discuss about the drawings specification, cost of estimate, schedule of work,
and Critical Path Method used with two digital technologies to prepare the project
management.
The project, Reinforced Concrete has a 70'-0" & 30'-0" area school building because this
building has sustainable, soundproof, and comfortable for people to learn. It has 29 columns
and footings and 16 windows and only one main door. This building has one story. In the
space, the area has placed a table and other furniture. It has only in and outdoors but there are
a lot of windows to have natural light. It can build within three months and can also control
the cost. This structure always has control measures during construction to have good quality.
The project is a school project. This project is drawn by AutoCAD software. The
reason why chooses this project is nowadays the field of education is increasing day by day.
The total area of the residential house is 2100 sqft.
In this house, there are 29 numbers of footings and columns. In footings, there are
composed of 6” thickness of hardcore, 3” thickness of 1:3:6 lean concrete, and (8x8) 16mm
footing steel rod square frame and short column steel frame mixed with 1:2:4 cement
concrete. In the column, there are composed of 4 number 16mm steel rods set up with 8mm
stirrup apart 6 inches. The size of the short column and long column is (9”x9”) rectangle. The
plinth beam and roof beam, there are composed of 4 number 16mm steel rods and set up with
8mm stirrup apart 6 inches. The size plinth beam and roof beam are (9”x12”) rectangles. The
roof design of the project is a parapet roof (see Appendix A).
A participant must produce an initial project estimate. The source of the initial
project; A cost and time scale can be created by analyzing rate and local pricing. Project
management of the construction industry Gantt chart; Primarily relies on schedule and
resource tracking using PERT Chart and CPM Chart. Estimate the approach value of this
project and show the summary cost and quantity list of my structure (see Annexure-B). Grand
total cost is 305,491,855.82 kyats and PAE=BQ value is 30549 kyats/ft2.
Based on the first and second stages, a project management plan, using standard
systems of time and resource tracking will be prepared and updated. Duration and resources
are got from the estimate by using standard systems from yellow book. By using standard
systems, we got the standard duration and resources and it is very helpful in a project
management planning. Duration from estimate and duration from CPM are not same days.
They are 120days and from 142 days respectively. Durations get from the estimate is by
adding all of activities duration. Activities duration is got from the activities volume and the
numbers of labors in each activity. Durations from CPM is got by knowing and looking the
estimate durations and making the table to get activities Network Diagram.

project specification.
After that, the selection of your preferred solution, making reference to our initial
project specification will be justified. Using these two software, it gives many good results.
We can see the Network Diagram and Gantt chart of the whole project. It can manage the
time and cost, labor, materials, and safety of our project. Activities duration from CPM is
needed to compare in MS and QM software. This software gives an auto-schedule of the
activities by putting the duration of each activity. The network Diagram and Schedule of the
duration is got from MS Project software and the Gantt chart and precedence graph are
received from QM for windows. These digital technologies are widely used in many projects
to have a standard system. They are described in Appendix D.
The comparison of each outcome from using management plan software can be
shown in the following table.
