Question No. 1:: Find Out Maximum Height From Ground, Time of Flight, Velocity of Strike. (G 10m/s)

This document contains questions related to projectile motion. Question 1 asks to find the maximum height, time of flight and velocity of strike for a ball projected with 20 m/s downward velocity from a 60m high tower. Question 2 asks additional conceptual questions about projectile motion, including definitions, assumptions, and relationships between time and position for objects in projectile motion under gravity.

Projectile Motion :
 Any object that is given an initial velocity obliquely, moving in the space only under the
influence of gravity is called projectile motion.
Ex : Cricket Ball, Badminton, Fountain, Cannon

 The moving particle is called projectile.

 The path of the of particle is called trajectory.

33
Assumption Used Is Analysis Of Projectile Motion :
 Acceleration due to gravity is assumed constant.
 Earth is assumed as flat surface.
 Air resistance is assumed to be zero.

34
Height Point Of Trajectory :
 𝑣𝑦 is zero at this point.
 Speed is Minimum.
 Total velocity of the projectile is along horizontal direction only.
 Angle between velocity and acceleration is 90°
 Speed, momentum and kinetic energy is minimum but potential energy is maximum.
