• To access Spare Part

must be enabled.
• Select the User Button in the
upper left corner of the screen to
access the user selection menu.

M-12 female connector.

Encoder is being programmed, an
M-12 cable can be connected
between the cab portal and the
spare part.

programmed a programming cable
PN 55158981 or BH0000839 is
required.
• Connect cable between the cab
portal to the EPEC Can connector.

AMP 8-pin connector will connect
to port 4 of the EPEC module.
This should be the only connection
made to the EPEC for
programming.

• With the device to be programmed


connected to the GUI, select OK
to begin the programming process.

to begin the Connection step of
the programming process.
• Select Next when the Connection
process is complete.

that the spare part is being
programmed to replace, then
select Next.

programming process.

Operation completed successfully
when the process is complete.

be programmed, select Install.
• If all spare parts have been
programmed, select Finish.

• To complete the installation process,


first shutdown the machine.
• Open the battery isolator.
• Install the programmed spare parts
on the machine.
• Remove all programming cables from
the system.
• Turn on battery isolator and power up
the system by turning on the key
switch.

view within the Menu.

are present within the system.
• A missing module will be indicated
by a red X over the device.

• If all modules are present and communicating, the spare part programming and
installation process is complete.
• Verification of functions affected by module(s) replaced should be performed and
documented before machine is returned to operation.
