– if the USB-CF Card is improperly seated in the PocketPC®. Remove the USB-

3. Read error:
The following error occurs:

5. The progress bar below the “Download” Screen Button shows the downloading
progress rate of the firmware being installed (See Figure 18 a), and the text area
below it shows the communication status occurring during the firmware down-
load (See Figure 18 b).
6. When the download is complete, an Information dialog box will appear on top of
the Pocket PC final download screen (See Figure 18 c).
To install the same firmware into another UBA, just reconnect the USB cable
into the USB slot at the front on the next UBA, (wait for about 3 seconds to
let the PocketPC® load the USB drivers) and click the download
button again to begin another download.

TROUBLE SHOOTING THE FIRMWARE DOWNLOADS


1. Write error:

The following error occurs:
– if the USB cables are not connected properly.
– if the USB-CF Card is improperly seated in the PocketPC®. Remove the USB-
CF card and reinsert it into the PocketPC’s compact flash card slot.
2. Failed to open port:
The following error occurs:
– if the USB cables are not connected properly.
– if the USB drivers are not completely loaded. The drivers usually take about 2-
3 seconds to load after the UBA is connected. Try downloading after a 2-3

instead deselect all the options present and click one last time

To print, set your printer as follows:
1. Select PAGE SIZE = LETTER
2. Select COLOR or Black & White (Monochrome).

4. Select DUPLEX (Double Sided) printing.
5. Select LONG EDGE (Top-Top) formatting.
6. Select number of copies.
7. Select Print Pages from 1 to X, where X = max pages minus 1 (i.e.,
delete this page).

on a standard 8.5” x 11” Portrait page for the users convenience. Check for a
