Classroom design
Importance of Physical Element 1
Effective classroom design increases student engagement and interaction. It
also makes learning more comfortable and reduce distraction. A great design
classroom should have comfortable and ergonomic seating, flexible
arrangement that allows for group work, and well-positioned teacher and
student workstations.

Physical Element 2
Lightning

Importance of Physical Element 2


Good lightning is critical for creating a comfortable learning environment. It
helps reduce eye strain, improve mood, and increase students focus. Good
lightning should be sufficient, diffuse, and free from glare.

Physical Element 3
Temperature

Importance of Physical Element 3


Temperature can have a significant impact on students' performance.
Extreme temperature causes discomfort, which reduce focus and hinder
concentration. According to the brainly research temperature for learning is
generally between 18-20°C.

Air quality
Importance of Physical Element 4
Good air quality promotes health and increase illness. Poor air quality can
lead to health issues, allergies and flu-like symptoms.

Acoustics
Importance of Physical Element 5
Bad noise levels in the classroom can distract students and reduces their
ability to concentrate. Good acoustics can improve speech clarity and reduce
background noise. It also improves students' participation and engagement.

2. How can the teachers apply the above teaching and learning strategies to ensure

Teamwork

How can Strategy 1 be applied


The strategy teaches essential communication and social skills, which includes
active listening and effective speaking. Students learn how to listen to their
leaders and coaches in order to perform their individual roles. Students learn to
listen effectively to one another in order to function as a cohesive unit.

Strategy 2
Inquiry-based teaching

How can Strategy 2 be applied


The strategy encourages learners to ask questions and it also engages students
by making real-world connections through exploration and high-level
questioning. Students are given concrete materials and questions and in order
to answer the questions, students work individually or in small groups to
explore, observe and discover answers.
