Camera Keyence Setting Procedure
- Choose direct connection (if you have only one camera select “1 unit” option, if you have more
than one camera select “2 units or more” option). Select the ethernet port connecting the camera.
- Select the camera you want to set from the list
- At the end of these adjustments press “OK” button and save the settings you have carried out.
- If you select “Outline” control you should select the shape where you want to compare every time
the vials. If the shape is the same, you have a good signal, if the shape is different you have a bad
signal. You can select the area of the control (rectangle, circle, entire, partial), the sensitivity of the
control and the limit adjustment (if the value of current situation is bigger than the preset value,
you have a good signal, otherwise you have a bad signal)
- At the end of these adjustments press “OK” button and save the settings you have carried out.
- In the last page “Output Assignment” you can decide how to use the 8 outputs of the camera.
Generally, we proceed as follwing: “OUT1” for photo good or not, “OUT2” for camera busy, “OUT3”
for camera in fault/error and other outputs off.
- When you finish you should press “Complete” button saving all the settings.
- Then, press again “RUN” button to enable the camera and at this you can start the machine.
COPY / EDIT CAMERA RECIPE
- Press the “Detail” button to open the recipe page of the camera
- From this page you can see all the master images of all recipes pre-loaded into the machine;
select an image in the list and press “Copy” button: a pop-up appears asking you where you want to
copy it;
select the recipe for which you want to use this photo as a master (this in case you have more than
one recipe for vial type).
