Unit of Competency Event Planning Services

1.Prepare the necessary tools, materials, instruments and equipment in accordance with the
job requirements, to wit,
 Read and understand an event brief and objectives
 Identify suppliers involved in the event
 Prepare a draft proposal based on the identified suppliers and the event brief

2. A simulated event background will be provided by the Assessor as these vary in size,
location and duration.

3. The Assessment shall be based on the units of competency in the training regulations and
the evidence Plan and shall focus on the evidence gathering methods below:

4. The Final assessment shall be the responsibility of your Accredited Assessor.

5. Your assessor will provide feedback at the end of the assessment. The feedback shall
indicate whether you are;

Unit of Competency On-Site Event Management Services

1.Prepare the necessary tools, materials, instruments and equipment in accordance with the job
requirements to wit;

 Prepare a list of possible risks, and discrepancies and their respective corrective actions
 Draw a sketch for the staging of an indoor event
 Use the internet to source protocol

2. A simulated event background will be provided by the Assessor as these vary in size,
location and duration.

3. The Assessment shall be based on the units of competency in the training regulations and
the evidence Plan and shall focus on the evidence gathering methods below:
